Lol @ whoever voted neither, thanks for your support :P
I did think of adding some words onto Rimp to get Shrimp, but I dunno if I can be bothered :P Rimp seems to have caught on now anyway. And I'm all for memeing it up :-L it made me laugh when I thought of it. 6383
DSL TC Showcases / Re: GF93's Dee-Ess-Ell Showcase« on: June 22, 2010, 11:41:42 AM »
Seems alright, looks cool anyway.
Use a few ant batteries instead of the oranges - 1 for each spin motor in general (and I like to have 1 or 2 extra just in case) Use the multi-extenders (black and red) instead of baseplate anchors - so much lighter XD And of course those changes mean you can reduce chassis size Then improve armour, maybe adding some half-sheets on the bottom :D 6384

Currently 10 votes to RIMP, 11 to RIP3.
I voted for RIMP as it's... different. Could be fun :P EDIT: Now 12 to RIP3. 6385

Tournament Archives / Re: Next Rust In Pieces« on: June 21, 2010, 11:02:42 AM »RIP has always been DSL so why debate it now ? Exactly. I like DSL, RIP has always been DSL, it's never not going to be DSL unless some weird movement happens and it moves to a different mod. But no stock. I started RIP because there were a lack of DSL tourneys, and now I just enjoy running them, I ain't gonna stop the way they're run just cos the Stock well has dried out for a bit. 6388

Because, Monsieur Sys, I have a dislike of stock. Sorry. :P
Realism FTW, in my opinion. 6389
Tournament Archives / Re: Next Rust In Pieces« on: June 21, 2010, 10:26:47 AM »
Aha, I had wondered why it hadn't been done before.
I made a possible layout for it today and it would have around 6 events I think, ending up with around 30 videos in total. Some of my plans have been seen in the other thread but they've been updated now... and it's gonna be kept under wraps how I would do it. Just in case. :P 6390
Tournament Archives / Re: Next Rust In Pieces« on: June 21, 2010, 10:02:47 AM »
It will come, just not nearly as fast. Also, must mention Rust In More Pieces wouldn't affect the global rankings. Just cos it's not an 'official' event.

Shh. :P
ANYWAY I have plans for RIMP if it is allowed to go ahead... won't reveal any specific details on plans for the following just yet. 1) The Winner's Tournament 2) Grudge Matches 3) Challenge Belt 4) Wildcard Warriors 5) (Didn't include this in the PM to JB but I just thought of it) Rumbles (Specific bot types in rumbles and stuff) Yeah, I stole some stuff from RWE. :P 6394
Tournament Archives / Re: Rust In Pieces 2 - Awards and Rankings« on: June 20, 2010, 04:22:59 PM »
Neither will work in future. I'm going to be completely emotionless. I'm going to throw knives at people who try and make me smile. Or cry. Because along with being emotionless, I'm also going to be completely sadistic.
[/liesROFLOMG.] I'll probably run some kinda Winner's Tournament after every RIP, I was even thinking of getting grudge matches in for the end of this one... In fact I could open another thread for the Winner's Tournament, some Grudge Matches and maybe people's match requests from the 2 RIPs (I still have all the bots from the first one) Could be fun... A bit like Robot Wars Extreme in a way... Rust In More Pieces, anyone? :P 6395
Tournament Archives / Re: Rust In Pieces 2 - Awards and Rankings« on: June 20, 2010, 04:16:09 PM »
Hah, you guys make me smile :P
Next time, Nary, crying won't work. I'm gonna grow a spine and resist your pleas. :-L 6396
Tournament Archives / Re: Rust In Pieces 2 - Awards and Rankings« on: June 20, 2010, 03:45:34 PM »
Meh, winner's tournament here I come :P
It won't be today though. Expect it to pop up in the videos thread, not gonna make another thread just for 3 or 4 matches. 6397
Tournament Archives / Re: Rust In Pieces 2 - Awards and Rankings« on: June 20, 2010, 03:39:47 PM »
I can fix that up for you if you want? I can film a little rumble and pop it up. If I did that I'd like to put Machty Maus in too, as then it's like a Winner's Rumble (Condor won the RIP1 LB)

Nah, I guess I can give you and yoda auto entry into RIP3 if you want it for being champions and whatnot, I can't offer much else XD 6399
