Congratulations 090901 on your victory *Just put your own clapping here since I'm too lazy*. Sorry about Tortuga, Jdg37. It was impressive and won my heart, but hey on the bright side, it didn't end up as scrappy,oily turtle soup and came 2nd over all.
I wouldn't say it was a blast for me (fell in the loser bracket round 1 for an idea.), but at least everyone had a good go and properly had a blast themselves.

Also Strengths: Guilt? GuldenFlame what were you thinking? I can guess you wanted to joke about Hitler being good all of a sudden, but just why?
1. Team Dark was full, plus a Hitler bot on Team Light has dark humor points.
2. Guilt of rejecting the first version.
Fair enough if you wanted to make a joke out of Hitler. I wasn't aware that this was the second version of Mecha Hitler even when it had the clearly states Mecha Hitler 2.1. I though this was the first version for a joke of how the last Mecha Hitler failed during its conquest for world domination. But that's what you get if you make assumptions all the time.
you know what, i agree with al, chris' robbit is very triggering and i think he should be banned from this tournament, in fact i'm gonna make a change.org petition for it
I know you are trying to troll me, but just let Chris (090901) have his laughs. I didn't say anything about triggering me in anyway of form, it was the case of looking in the splashes and you see something like Mecha Hitler 2.1 makes you think "What were they thinking!"

True. Been here 6ish months now. So Demon, is it still double elimination? Or how will this finale work?
It gets rigged so neither one that has already lost wins.
I didn't make the Turtle ok. I just have a love for the turtle bot, which is a bit mad when you think about it, but it just a good looking bot with a lovely skined Hypo-disc flywheel.
And yes, Hell Spawn bit the dust a long time ago, smited by the other bots. Also I didn't think this would kick up a **** storm in the first place (It's not really a **** storm but I didn't expect this many replies). I lost this tournarment, but I'll be back with a new Robot *Cue not-so evil laugh*!

Another Necro-Post. I finally found out the air date and time of the New series of Robot Wars, on the BBC Two Twitter Page. It appears that they will show the first episode of Series 9 of Robot Wars before Series 24 of Top Gear which is on an hour later. I'm sorry, you cannot help it when you put in a well-designed, good looking Robot in a tournament that looks adorable to my eyes. Despite it losing a match, it manged to make it's way into the final. Another update: Made some more modifications on this experimental bot. It's still flawed but I added support for the weapon motor and move some of the inner parts such as batteries around. It still looks a little ugly but it worth a couple of minutes.   Yeah, make a sort of box around the etek, then stick some supports on the other side of the disc like counter revolution.
I did add a box as seen in the images above. But sorry, the counter revolution idea wasn't in my mind. Might make a super-heavy weight out of it though when I have the chance.

I already started some work on this like replacing the utterly useless DSA Armour with Titanium 5 and starting to put support for the motor. Also, The title is a bit of a typo because the I was actually a non-capitalized L and not a capital L.That is why it looks like an I. Thanks for pointing it out anyway.

Another Experimental Bot here. First of all, I don't really make proper Heavy-Weights that often, due to two key factors such as; I can never make use of the 800Kg limits and how I cannot get the bot to look nice as well; finally, I struggle to make Vertical Spinners because I struggle to balance them and use them effectively in combat. So This Bot is overall, a little unfinished. So after a bit of brain storming and reverse-engineering, which I didn't copy the design of anyone. I built a not-so real life spinner which It's powerful, but flawed like most of my bots. So here it is:

I knew that the game was old (thanks to Wikipedia), but it does prove that how a community can keep abandon alive for anyone enough to play for themselves.
I've only been on the site for a month, but one hell of a thanks to the long running members (Excluding some) in keeping the game alive and the work that was put on the stand-alone mods. These mods may of been kept on the forms, but it still keeps the spirit of RA2 running to this day.
