Not necessarily. Could've been bluffing to confuse you, and put MM to shame.

I reckon he can pull it off. New members have pulled off good tournaments in the past, and I think Scorpion is one of those new members who CAN do it.
And lol. This tournament is much better than you ;3 6110

Well yes it is! :D And it's a nifty thing too ![]() And I know it's a HW in real life, I didn't think that really made a difference, the RA2 weightclass was LW, not the actual bots? Or that was my understanding/ 6114

A few things I think you could change...
1) swap the battlepack for 2 ants (Dunno if you're aware of the new 1 ant per spin motor discovery) 2) use the lighter but bigger 4kg control board 3) maybe change the weapons. Maybe hex plates and irons or something? 4) maybe use the shorter Multi-Extenders instead of the long one, and just raise it up 5) I'm not sure the spike strip is necessary, you could use the weight from that on the main weapon system. Might save a bit of weight there, but I gotta say, it looks nifty! I like it a lot :D 6115

Just die peacefully in my sleep...
After getting laid with Hayley Williams, Cristina Scabbia and Evanna Lynch. This would be a good way to die. 6116

You may wish to see this, made just today and put in the Replica thread
https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=797.msg229958#msg229958 But I think you'd need burst motors for the clamping arms, and something to put on them. maybe a dsl bar with something on the end? I don't know. Just remember burst motors don't stick to the 1 ant rule for power, and need a fair few more. 6118
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Deadmetal showcase« on: October 29, 2010, 04:03:14 PM »
Well, I dislike those unrealistic HS. Or unrealistic bots altogether. I'm a Vertical Spinner person (check mah DSL Showcase
![]() But as I mentioned in the edit you may not have seen, try using metal hinges (the ones that look like they're from a door) instead of the skirt hinges (the silver and black things you're using) to get a better wedge. 6119
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Deadmetal showcase« on: October 29, 2010, 03:56:32 PM »
To get under wedges, I believe the best way to put it, would be to have a better wedge. I can't help much there, sorry, I hate the wedge wars and refuse to build wedges. :P
EDIT: But taking my advice and using Metal Hinges instead of Skirt Hinges will help. I know that metal hinges are better, and that's about it. 6120
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Deadmetal showcase« on: October 29, 2010, 03:48:40 PM »
If I were you, downgrade those battlepacks to Ant Batteries. 1 ant can power 1 spin motor for the entire match. That should save you 30kg or so, which you could upgrade your weapons or drive/wheels with :D not bad as a first bot though!
EDIT: Oh, and get rid of the casters. That'll save you more weight to upgrade with. Maybe use metal hinge wedges instead of skirt hinges? |
