This thing real?
Very much real.
Still a bit worried with how much time Roboters are give to build a Robot (Still the same about 2 months) despite the fact some are still being built and some haven't been built as of yet. Also, I do like the fact they want Feather Weights to show off in side events but if anyone can remember back the Feather Weight events in Series 7, then you know what I mean by this.

Hey, I was right with number 9 all along. Anyway, Congratulations Badnik on your victory. Like I said it could go far if it was in a DSL-S tournament if someone will make a DSl-S tournament.

Frustrating that this episode highlighted the biggest problem of Series 8, which was barely-functioning robots making the heat final due to the round robin format.
Aftershock was awesome though.
Have to agree, especially in the round robin when AfterShock performed an unsportsmanlike move on Sabretooth by damaging them when Sabretooth was already immobilised. I still feel bad for Terrorhurtz though, and ofcourse Sabretooth.

House Robots going rogue is pretty funny.
I didn't find it that funny but still, at least the House Robots got more involved in the series so far. Also if you did see the trailer for the next episode, Heat B and E were swapped around, probably either because of the Champions Apollo or the producers found Heat B a bit weak, I'm not too sure. Can't wait for the next episode though.

I remembered watching a few videos of Motorama with Huge in them and I think you did pretty well for this year. Some people on the Robot Wars Reddit described huge as being Gabriel with a Bar spinner, despite looking more like Gyrax. Anyway awesome bots you have there Somebody.

It's behemoth's year.
Behemoth's year to break down. No wait, that's every year, my bad.

Too bad the BBC micro-bit page had to spoil about Behemoth in their video for young children wanting to start in combat robotics *Tut tut* If you want the link then PM me. Still, looking forward to tonight's episode with the strong line-up set ahead, especially when the heat contains strong competitors like Aftershock, Rapid and Terrorhurtz. The battles themselves, I'm watching them with my Dad, since he wanted to watch the episodes with me as usual like every-time my family watches one of the specials from the old series of Top Gear. As for all of you, enjoy the episode and I'll talk about it later!

- The weight class will be Heavyweight.
Never like to build heavyweights but it may be worth a try just for a few laughs and a lesson in building a good heavy weight. Also, any ideas on the arena that you [HelloFace] may use for the tournament like the standard tournament arena in DSL or something along the lines?
Most likely Containment Cube, I'll look around for other arenas and update it once I know for sure which arena I'll use.
Thanks for that. Might give me an idea on what to build for this.

My Verdict and possible guess: 1.Quite good for a DSL-S Light-Weight, everything fits in the chassis and near to the weight limit. Despite me having thoughts about its controlling ability. Could go far in a Tournament. 2.Possibly ineffective, even for IRL. Very underweight for a heavy, could of been invertable instead of having a SRIMECH. Reminds me of Armadrillo from Robot Wars with Face spinners. 3. Creative though there is a feeling in me that requires more to be done, despite being an well maded extender bot. 4. Despite Robotnik winning my heart last time. My heart now feels horribly back-stabbed by crappy MS paint graphics like if my bleeding heart was ripped from my very chest. 5. Nice model. Could quickly become unbalanced though. 6. Hi Thrackerzod! Moving on now. 7. This is definitively not made by Asbestosstar. Looks too good to be him. 8. Now this is Asbestosstar quality! Call me deplorable, both 7 and 8 don't win my vote. Still better than the last one despite meta-games. 9. This pure Asbestosstar quality! ****y splash, style bot and a splash more cringe-worthy than his last one. 10. Face-spinner on slits? Genius and by the splash, it appears to have worked. 11. Guessing Mechadino made this one due to some of the images appeared on his last profile image. 12. Have to agree with Mega here. Could of benefited if it was a middle-weight than an underweight Cruiser. 13. Well built for a Stock heavy weight, despite not feeling a little special but more generic.

Seeing in how Tor2ga has greatly improved by taking out Supermo Drone Mini in a couple of seconds, as well as ripping Drone's disk off in a few seconds. It's no wonder why the users facing it in the grudge matches possibly need to be worried about its power. However, if someone can get under Tor2ga and flip it, that should take care of Tor2ga I hope.

I tryed Harder this time!
oh boy
Well, that shall be one ride to hell for you and anyothers. But thank God if Asbes can build a good bot and make a splash, better than his last BOTM entry.Yes, it was one of those rushed entries (I don't think so but you may contradict). Asbestosstar can possibly improve if he starts looking online for a photo editor better than MS paint like pixrl, taking time to make a proper bot in about two/three days time and learning to properly crop in photo editor programs like learning a new skill.
As for me, I keep saying to myself that I want to build a BOTM Entry but either A: I lose focus due to other commitments such as Sixth Form and writing essays; or when I do build one, I get to a point when I lose hope. I'll give this one a miss, but I have an idea for next month's BOTM. Have a guess if you wish to.
The bot was not to good, but the splash was pretty funny. By the way for the last splash, i knew how to crop. And I used MS photodraw, not paint.
If you knew how to crop, why did you leave the YouTube time-bar in? You could of just got a screenshot when the time-bar was hidden at full screen or you could of find the image on Google if you wanted to save time watching the video. Plus, no one uses MS photo-draw anymore, the program's extended support was discontinued 2009, making some of the tools and program specs inferior to Photoshop. I never used photo-draw but I can imagine that the program doesn't have much fan support to keep it going to more superior programs like PhotoShop. Even when it doesn't stop you Asb from using it, today's photo editors usually have much more superior tools to use that Photodraw doesn't use or are more superior than Photo-draw's. Which you can use to make a better BOTM Splash despite being out of your comfort zone of Photo Draw. That's the reason on why I recommend pixrl because not only is more up to date, but it easy to use and it's online. It's hard to So I only giving advice on how to improve as well as making an effort or improving your work into BOTM. So, hope your next BOTM is better than your last. Edit: Forgot to say that the reason why I said MS paint was that the picture looked very MS paint like, even for Photo Draw.

Nah, it's got to be that collection of DVDs in the background.
Yeah, what are your favourites?
I'm afraid I can't pick any favorites from Helloface's collection, the camera shot is too focused on his hand and his DVDs are too far away for the titles to be read. Besides, if you want to talk about your favorite movies and I'll be happy to talk and share about my favorites like Monty Python the Life of Brian, just start a new topic board or I'll start one or revive an old board on everyone's favorite movies.

At least I got to see what all the reverse bots can do. Especially with the winner Psycho-Delica, even when it's not the best ring spinner or bot of the bunch.

Glad to see crushtacean again. It has always been a personal favorite of mine.
Hobgoblin and Tauron are particularly interesting bots that might cause an upset or two.
However, the one I really want to watch is Coyote. It kinda reminds me of Diesector.
Crushtacean is back? I am surprised!
Yeah, but it's in a very spinner-heavy heat however. Not sure how long it'll survive against modern day spinners but it's good to see Crushtacean again.

Damn it Squirrel_Monkey! I was about to post that!
Anyway, sorry for the outburst. But I had have a look at most of competitors and like everyone, I have high expectations of this series. Especially on some of the competitors like Heavy metal which I wasn't expecting the looks of the machine; Cobra, Carbide, and Expulsion. I was also a bit curious around Week two competitor HoboGoblin, the BBC media centre mentioned about HoboGoblin in the episode 2's line-up, but like everyone, I didn't have any clue of what HoboGoblin was and looked like, due to the lack of any photos from the team till now.
Again the page has been cobbled together and not professionally lay out on the site like last year with the fancy buttons, finalist side bar and such, but the site was recently updated today and over time, the administers and page designers will improve the site whenever they have the time. Still it give us an idea on whose competing and what we might expect from the series.
Now, time to make bets.

Right, submitted. Hope everyone's ready for Robotnik of the Month, part 2!
no
I'm afraid it will possibly will happen for next month's BOTM. But as it is Thrackzod, he's possibly playing with us all a long. If this is the case of him making Robotnik of the Month part 2. This should be Thrackerzod right now:

*Smirk* Yeah, you are really going to cut yourself with blunt, butter knife aren't you?
(Image removed from quote.)
This was meant to be some sarcasm. But like most sarcasm on the internet, it horribly backfired.
