I may re-enter a very very old Stock bot into this. Basically the only Stock MW I've ever put into competition :)
It'll be just like Robot Wars 2016. Unchanged old bot from like 10 years ago entering again.

Anyone else think that the weapon choice for Bombshell, in the final, was absolutely stupid? Even if the VS took too much damage and was out of commission for the final, surely the hammer would have done better than the HS. If I were them, the HS weapon would have been the very last thing I would've considering attaching. Anyone know the reasoning behind the weapon choice?
Would've much preferred if Biteforce or Beta were the champs, or at least got to the finals but, at least a GTMer got the finals :P
the HS was about level with the biggest weak spot on tombstones weapon, the chain area which had just showed weakness the last fight.
Not seen the episode yet but iirc Mike actually developed the HS as a creative anti-Tombstone weapon designed to go for the chain and knock the weapon system out. Genius idea really.

 At least there's Stock MW. I don't mean to diss the makers of Ironforge and Retooled. I guess I'm just too closed-minded.
Give IF a try dude, it builds quite similarly to DSL and its VERY easy to learn the different components.
^^ It's just being closed minded for the sake of nostalgia to not try it. Like if someone said Chaos 2 is better than Apollo because they're used to it. I hope to build for all classes for this, despite my massive deficiency in Stock.

Afraid to say that I really disliked the final. I don't think Thor was a great wildcard, and it went on to be just dead weight in the head-to-heads, only because Pulsar decided to break down straight away...
I think the format needs changing. It ruined this grand final.

Not getting involved but I'd like to mention a few things that impress me about Gabriel.
-Around 2/3 the power of Beta in the swing
-Torque limiters so it can swing without moving across the floor
-Unbelievably hard to control
But this last one is more telling than any other
-It's the only robot my girlfriend has ever liked and rooted for. She actually got invested in this episode because of how entertaining Gabriel is.
