It must be not working for another reason.

I think your right. I've followed the instructions but whenever I click on the new team I've made the bloody thing crashes.
If you show us the bindings for whatever robots you have tried to AI then we might be able to see what's wrong. Maybe you could post it in the AI help thread here: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=1103.1050

Yes I do cause it's not working.  :vista:
A: You don't need it, it must be not working for another reason, but it can be useful.
B: I'll find you a link, gimme a sec... here: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=97

There aren't much comments or interest since the bots are just from the basic DSL.

It's not my fault. I don't have the right software to turn my own robots into AIs. And until Sonny Resetti reloads his replicas so we can download them I'm stuck with the robots I've got.
What Naryar said. I've not been here all that long and I have learnt to AI. You don't need any specialist software and there are plenty of tutorials on the site so it's not a question of can or can't, it's a question of just making the small effort to try.
Having said that your videos are fairly well put together otherwise. Just make the robots your own and you're there, in my opinion at least.

Not a stock rebuild, just a generic LW VS with a Ninja themed skin. I have a better idea for a Ninja rebuild (read: stupider idea)

Weight is 246. something.

if you made a version with 4 razors, you could have both a combat-effective version and a version that stays true to the original boxer.
Good idea, done:

a popup with FISTS ?
Yup, like I said, sucky weapons, but this wasn't really a serious build. The weapons barely do any damage at all, but they can launch things pretty well, at least for stock.

I'm back to stock! Wooh!
But not back to serious efficiency builds juusst yet, that's on the way. This is just a bit of fun.
For some reason I wanted to rebuild stock AI robots that use their own robot specific components (e.g. EMERGENCY's flipper) but change them up a bit, starting with The Boxer, which I made into a popup (for some reason). Since someone else just posted a stock rebuild, I figured I'd post it now.

I skinned it and everything! Insides:

Yeah, it's sucky due to bad weapons, but it's just for fun and to get me back to stock. Wedge was surprisingly ok against Neglected Waterbug though.
New stuff on the way sometime soon!

Scout...what happened to you...?
Alarm looks slightly better I guess, but it would look far better if you made the skin properly rather than using the original and stretching it over a new chassis.

poker looks decent. just being really nitpicky here, but small beater + a light ds tooth is almost entirely better than irons. is it designed to take out popups, longbow style?

the flipper is cool and all, but i cant really imagine that setup being practical on an actual robot IRL.
What do you mean by longbow style?
Also I agree that that design probably wouldn't be practical, and I think I will remake it eventually.

Here was my LW entry to RA2 Olympics: Tokyo:

And an IRL flipper made with shell panels (quite old, forgot to showcase it when I made it):

And so, in a lame attempt to prove to himself that he isn't entirely useless at DSL S, Lemonism builds a LW poker.

Insides:

Titanium 1, 247.9, NPC normals, 4 razors, 3 ants, 2 medium air tanks.

I really like the presentation of these videos, what editing and recording software are you using?

I'm not exactly an expert, but here goes...
Tigercat is technically not a legal robot as the weapons intersect the motor, breaking the 'realistic rule' of DSL S. Just use the other AP of the perms, and you will probably have to change the chassis a bit I'm afraid.
Also for both robots I believe only the middle attachment point of skirt hinges actully acts as a wedge , so you don't need to use the side attachments, saving some weight.
For the drum you should use the small multiextenders instead of baseplate mounts to save space and weight, which might even let you make your chassis a bit smaller.
If you haven't already seen them Naryar did some excellent tutorials for DSL S.
Leaving this until last as I'm not sure, but I think each spin motor only needs one ant battery to power it, and since I don't think that batteries affect weight distribution in combat I don't think you need that black battery in there at all... but I would ask a more experienced user before removing it :P

Stupid question, are the armors getting buffed for this? I don't want to use DSA and then get insta-killed by a good HS...

EDIT:
Before you do that, what are you going to strengthen the armours to? What's strongest to weakest?

Nah, i've decided it's too complicated to redo the armors, considering it'd only really change on my game, and then I'd need to re-apply them all... Honestly it's too much work. sorry.
I found the post where you said you weren't going to buff them, and now i feel stupid :P

That looks awesome! I like yours more than mine!
I tried to do the screw thing on mine but eventually gave up and just decided to make it as smooth-looking as possible.
Also it's great that I inspired such an excellent builder to build something :)

A few new IRL robots to showcase:
1: A 4-Bar flipper (I believe that's what they're called?)

2: A T-Minus style flipper:

3: A weird drill robot:
