pretty much nothing related to this tournament.. you may as well just make your own one rather then reviving this

It's a replica, so he can waste weight on Titanium 10 or over 9000 ants.

actually 10mm Armour is probably recommended since you don't do much external construction on reps

can make for some long and boring matches though =P

Coleoptera: I think none of us got the LW - how is this going to win any match exactly ?

as far as I can tell its a passive robot... designed to basically not die and nothing else.. I guess the hope is for other robots to minimize the competition as much as possible so there is less work for his later robots

you could use a system like that... have it use a rotates chassis to you can use a caster or 2 as Armour ?

as a huge drag racing fan I like this idea...

but I think, GroudonRobotWars, you need to think more into things before hand

*AI... do you know how to do any of it.. or even if others do it, piece it all together ?
*Arena's.. do you know anything about making them (or perhaps the complexity in doing so)
*Components... I suggest doing way more homework on these from posts you have already made in this thread 

don't hesitate to ask questions but I don't think jumping straight into something like this is advisable with your amount of knowledge.

Also, it is impossible to create a motor that shoots fire and smoke (I think)

unless you dont want it to be a motor...

you can make a motor looking flamethrower component (like say a top fuel engine)

I found out why Fire Cracker flips so powerful (finally) and was goign to use it in your tourney but it uses stacked batts
