I have always seen you from he day I joined as Mr DSL.... the fixing of a few DSL parts started out harmless (and lets face it good) but it really trailed to far away and ruined the original awe of the AI.

the darkrat parts, etc balanced is cool but not really a place in here (maybe a second mod?).. its why I have slowed down in downloading versions. the concept of the ultimate AI pack is the idea to run with, loose the mods, but maybe keep the skins.

by no means complaining though, just feedback. if people dont like it they wont use it simple... (perhaps the reason for a lack of tournaments)

I dont care about the number myself but im trying to find a self explanatory system so people will stop asking for more higher numbers (it happens a lot)

I would say just do away with this all together but Serge made us awesome bars on the wiki

I would just buy it but my stores have a no returns policy for PC games if you just dont like them

my idea was to have a set laid stuff that gains respect

competition of a tournament
competition of a mod
completion of an AI pack

etc for respect

have a points tally so that rating depends on what you do.. maybe start out with a base score depending on ranks

I dont know I didnt think it all the way through. I throw the ball out in hope someone would take it and run a bit... before being tackled by someone with a new and better ball.

my idea was to have a list with each person on a rating

example (yes I said example so dont complain about where people are)

100 - ACAMS
99 - Clickbeetle
98 - Madiaba
97 - Starcore

etc

Im unsure how it would fair but its just food for thought

replace "safezone" with "smartzone"

my interpretation

he wants a python that would make a robot only move and attack if another is in the smart zone (except if being counted out one would assume) so you can make a house robot type effect.

What spinspeed number would you guys have?

its personal preference.... here is a guide on estimation

(10) transitional - - - - | - - - - stationary (20)

the more transitional movement the less spin speed (so a lower spin speed number)

so you sacrifice traditional movement if your drive is weaker

(10) transitional - - - - - - - | - stationary (20)

or if you want more movement or your robot is unstable at high speeds

(10) transitional - | - - - - - - - stationary (20)

just play with the values a bit... test your robot with fast gut rippers to find the best balance
