When I saw that Complex HS I was totally reminded of my bot, MK Ultra. And I didn't find your voice funny, I found it strangely comforting. Like a higher version of my own. :3

Yeah, if I were you, take a couple of wheels off - maybe just 2WD or 4WD, make the chassis smaller, take the strange back device off, then put some massive hammers on the bar instead of the angle connectors/bars XD

Anyway, I mixed up the act opening for Iron Maiden; apparently Dragonforce was doing the Friday show, and we got a band even worse yesterday opening...
...Trivium. I actually agree with Herman Li about them; "bunch of teenagers trying to make metal music but failing".
Lol, my mum got Dragonforce. She was so... ecstatic... when she heard Airbourne wasn't doing that date, after missing their explosive Soni set (':

This is why Biffy are awesome.

Try what Urjak said then. If I were you, make the chassis tighter so you have more weight, put the BSGs on top with just a Multi-Extender (no carbon fiber ones) and put a stabiliser on the front, otherwise, with any weight on the flipper, it'll just tip when you fire them.

I'd put the BSGs in the chassis but above the ants. Move the control board and you should have room, and that'll save weight on the multi-extenders/carbon fiber extenders, the bursts will be better protected and I think it'll tip less easily when the flippers are up.
BTW you should really crop your images to just the robot to save space on the page and waste less server space.

That's not a bad LW flipper there. Much better than the MW version, in my opinion.

DO NOT STACK IN DSL. Just a tip, right there. DSL is about realism, not glitchy awfulness. And as a torque reaction flipper... I dunno how well yours would do. I'd make it 2 wheel drive with NPC fasts and hypno wheels, shrink the chassis, and use a burst motor and make an actual flipper (bear in mind burst motors need more than 1 ant - there is a chart somewhere... can't remember where...)

Marty and I had the manliest day the other day. We sat and watched Robot Wars: The First War on video while playing Pokemon cards.

My thoughts -The designs are there. We just need to find them. -Everyone's too worried about efficiency to discover new designs which, over time, could become killers. -On the BOTM aspect - JB you mentioned stuff not being killed off by a generic spinner/popup - I think the Giraffe votes were like a backlash to the genericness of almost every other entry (besides Firecracker, which almost won anyway, hence proving most people wanted to vote away from the generic HS)

Official FB Pros: -Less hatin' on people (esp. mods who don't deserve it) -Banning of people like TX
Cons: -Less freedom of speech which will just occur some other way -The 'controlling' aspect, as mentioned.
It's pretty equal. Maybe if the one we currently have had other mods (not just GRW) that aren't necessarily GTM mods/admins (to balance the controlling aspect), we might get somewhere.

I can still see it so I'm assuming it's just the normal forum members who can't - and yes, this was due to spam, I believe.

I fully agree with each and every point. People now know they can do this and get away with it, which means we should probably stamp out the flame before it burns our carpet (Hello awesome new phrasing). And as nasty as it is to say it, who would miss TX? What has he contributed? >.<

All we can really do is just give him no attention - he gets no attention, he'll give up. An IP ban would also obv help, so he can't re-access the old account and if he makes a new one under a proxy, then happens to forget to use the proxy, his IP will flash up. This isn't me 'Vigilante Moderating' I hope, just me saying what I'd do, besides he can't read this without being a user anyway.
