Like youve said, stock antweight are very boring. Maybe dsl ants would be more appealing. Or lightweights? But thatd would defeat the name of the tourney.
I can change it to Beetle Bashers Brawl, or Livid Lightweights.
However, since this is my first, I feel ants are easy to AI. Plus, stock AW is part of the challenge.

I... I don't even know where to start. For BOTM, Do I save this as DSL-IRL, because he -tried-? Or do I save this to DSL-S, because it clearly isn't?

Either way, I share Badger's sentiment. Also, please let us know with your showcased bot whether this is DSL-S or DSL-IRL, because honestly, I can't even tell. If it's DSL-S, drop the wheel supports and get a beefier weapon setup. If it's DSL-IRL... Come on, man. You can do a better job at supports than -that.-
It is DSL-S

But seriously, take as much time as you need. I know sometimes you need a break, and I respect that. I took a short break myself before. Until you return, farewell.

http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm

CF wasn't created until a few years ago. Up until then people had to get crazy effects using glitches. using CF in stock completely kills the challenge.
And I didn't know this game existed until last year.

General Support / Stock without ra2CF

I noticed that people build 36HS and such in stock, and they claim it is "without ra2CF". Not saying that they are wrong, by the way. I just want to learn how to. Can anyone teach me?

Had to reset votes to get rid of third option. I don't know why I even put it there.

Your bot is still underweight. Remember there is a good reason why other users have been telling you to build to the weight limit. With the remaining weight left over, the weight could of gone into having better chassis armour, having better protection of the front, or changing the small burst pistons in favour for medium bursts for a more powerful flipper.

In addition to this, you seriously need a feeder wedge for your bot. In DSL-S, you need to ensure that there is a way to get underneath your opponent with ease, that's when you need to attach a few side skirts onto a skirt hinge in order to get a perfect, low ground clearance so your opponent can be fed onto your bot's flipper for your bot to use. Without a feeder wedge in place, your flippers are too steep to get underneath anything other than any bot with a high ground clearance. The back protection does feel a bit unnecessary to me, sure you don't want the motor's ripped off by HSs, but the protection could of been used to guard the wheels instead. The AI often does have a habit of going around to the sides first first before heading to the back, so put the back protection to the sides ,or don't use back protection at all and instead use the weight somewhere else if you have to.

Also if it a little too much to ask, could tell me what chassis armour you are using?
Aluminum 1. I changed it to Titanium recently. Will that suffice?
