Rules:
All bots must be built using this chassis, which you can dl here:
DSL MW (399.9 and below, not including smartzones)
Combat Arena, hazards off, 3 min fights.
You're allowed 3 modifications to the chassis. A modification would include:
- Removing a component
- Adding a component]
- Moving (or rotating) a component
Chassis may not be resized or reshaped
Otherwise DSL-S standard ruleset
I can AI, but not very well, I strongly suggest you AI your bot yourself.
I reserve the right to decline a bot for ANY reason, and I will do so if a bot is going against the spirit of the rules.
No meltybrain, or custom .py's-SnS, TRFBDs, crawlers and other ghey sh** are banned
No custom components that do not come with a fresh DSL2.2 install, this includes skinned components.
1 havok restart per match per bot, any further havoks count as a round loss.
Bots may not be updated after the first match has been recorded, except AI tweaks or skin changes
All matches are BO1 except the grand finals, which are BO5
If spots are not filled, I may reduce the tournament size or fill spots with standard DSL2.2 bots.

With that, the main bulk of the tournament is over and the winner is Congratulations and commiserations to everyone else for their respective places. If you want any exhibition matches or rematches, let me know and I'll have them done. Deadline for requesting these matches will be the 6th. Thanks to everyone that entered! Personally, I'll be doing a rematch between Badger and RedAce because both bots did extremely well and RedAce had the best points difference in the tournament as he won every match 2-0 with the exception of losing one fight to the eventual champ 2-1. So, to me, that seems like a very good mandate for a rematch to see if RedAce could have possibly won the tournament if things went his way against Badger. Again, congratulations to RedAce on a super strong run throughout the tournament and congratulations to Badger on being the only one to beat him!
Actually, thinking on those lines, Thracker did rather well to be the only one to beat the champ, haha. Seems like there was a rock-paper-scissors thing going on here. I'll add that triple threat to the exhibition match list, too. If possible, let me know your favourite bot and/or favourite match :)

The gimmick of this tournament is that you enter two robots, a MW and a LW, and they fight as a team.
BUILDING RULES
-Ironforge MW and LW
-DSL-S building style
-No SnS
-Bots must be themed after some sort of duo (at least the names)
-Rule of 7 break allowed, other Sergepatcher features are not allowed
-BFE and all that other mess are not allowed
-Multibots not allowed due to the format
MATCH RULES
-DSL Tournament Arena (might reskin if I'm not too lazy)
-3 minute matches
-Best of 1
-Double elimination
-Havok rule: first match-altering havok = restart. Second match-altering havok = forfeit.
OTHER RULES
-Unlimited entrants
-Bot updates are allowed until the signups deadline
-You may team up with another person, or you can build both bots yourself. You may only be on one team
-I'm entering with Cork (MW) and Potedon (LW):

Decided to look at more Enter Shikari stuff after a while of only listening to Anesthetist. I found that I really do like their instrumentals but the lead singer does let most of their songs go, for me. This is a great example of a song I love the instrumental for but not the actual song due to the vocals.

We may not see BBEANS but, hopefully, we may see something on an equally grand scale that GTMers deem important enough to join. Progress is slow because Trov has died but I have been on the case for a while, so a tournament the size of BBEANS may not be far away and may or may not be in the works.

The way this works is that you must find a partner to team up and fight alongside. Teams must have a name.
Current champions are Team Deadly Accuracy - Ounce and Pwn.
I am AI'ing this time (I am still fairly new to it though so I would recommend you do your own).
Bots need to be received and accepted.
The way you sign up is by having one of the members of the team messaging me with BOTH robots in a zip folder and the team name. Means less sorting my end. Make sure robots are both clearly labelled.
(Old Realistic Rules) Standard DSL 2.2 - All parts must not intersect unless you could feasibly weld them together.
16 Entries - 8 Teams of 2.
Lightweight.
No custom components.
No out-of-game modifications.
In-game modifications are fine as long as they work within the rules.
No cheatbot2.
No clusterbots.
Double elimination.
LuTze Arena Skinned (Never skinned arena before, don't hate please ;-;)
1 Restart per team if Havok.
Hazards on.
3 Minute battles.
Best of 3 battles to win the match.
