Reminder that overhaul, better known as "GET YOUR HAND OFF THE STICK" will have to go up against Icewave or Ghost raptor (although it'll probably be icewave, let's be real here) if they even manage to make it to the RO4.

I'm pretty much rooting for any bot that isn't overhaul to win.
lol why do you hate overhaul so much
He doesn't like being reminded that he got rejected from MIT.

I assume TDS means Michael Root, the founder of GI. Not MikeNCR or anyone :P
I figured it wouldn't be NCR lol

I can confirm that Mike has sort of secured funding for this but it is being marketed as a quick and easy money grab based on riding the popularity of BB being restarted not as a good title that can stand on its own merits.
Mike? And yeah I figured BB played a role in this.

Still, good physics engines are pretty much preboxed products at this point so it could be pretty good.
A good physics engine is for sure a good start.

They were competing for a television show. Using a net makes the fight boring and audiences will lose interest.
It seemed to get plenty of people riled up.
yeah, the first time, but we're thinking of the long term; no joke is as funny the second time you hear it.  I hope you don't want to see more battles like Tombstone vs Counter Revolution.
Oh yeah long term that would be gay as hell. I see we were talking about different situation.

edit: I find it hilarious that the Killsaws haven't been deployed a single time in any fight so far. They, along with the Pulverizers, were one of the most iconic parts of the arena back in the day and I believe have been a staple in the arena since the very first event in 1999. Guess the counter for "Killsaw Rides" is gonna hang at 0 for a while longer. :P
I believe they decided that they weren't going to be used in the qualifying rounds. Hopefully they'll come into play later.

Just because you can use a net, doesn't mean you should.
If it works though, why wouldn't you.

You won't be saying it's so cool when everyone's using a net, and no one wants to build a spinner anymore out of aversion.
Obviously they'll fix the rules. It's not going to happen again and it wouldn't even if they put CC through because of it. They don't want it to happen regardless.

Good work. I thought you might use a baseplate halfsheet to extend the back out to get the motor underneath the shell.

Matt Maxham knows how to take on spinners.
That's why they'd be the ones to do it.

Don't rule out theplumbers.  Sewer Snake beat Last rites pretty convincingly, and the extra 30 pounds of armor will tip the scales in its favor.
It will also help Tombstone make his weapon more reliable. Though Stinger is probably the one to beat Tombstone.
