I'd get rid of the metal hinge wedges and replace them with Mako wedges.
Mako wedges aren't good now.
They were better like a couple of years ago when nobody used metal hinges.
The work far better than metal hinges on a VS as they don't lift up with the chassis, at least at this angle.

Can't remember which one that was, but I had the first Need For Speed game. It was pretty neat before it started crashing my computer.
Keep in mind, the original was simply called "Need for Speed" and ran on Windows 95 (I believe). Are you sure you had the first one?
It ran on 98, so I think it may have been compatible. I believe that I did have the original. Of course I also had another racer called Spirit Of Speed, featured older cars like Alpha's and Auto Union Ds. Great fun I have to say. Well, so long as you didn't have the DC version. Which was made by... LJN

Super smash bros brawl
For some reason I much preferred Super Smash Bros Melee, it was somewhat faster and was more of a fighter than a "grab the smash ball" affair.
