I don't really know about if I do want to enter this.
I have built an middle weight robot for the tournament, but I just feel that its not up to scratch to the standards that I want it to be. You can think to differ because the Bot may turn out to be better than you think, but I personally feel that my Bot is underweight, feels unfinished and not to the standards that some of you may want it to be.
So unless someone can change my mind, I may give this tournament a pass for the former reasons. I understand Mafia is a great party game and the gimmick sounds fun, but for the former reasons, I'll pass.
So have fun for the ones who had signed up anyway and GL.

A lot better than my own similarly coloured yet less look alike Clampbot Anthrax Omega.
Got to love not only the chassis paint job, but the amount of power put behind the machine and the amount of protection on the sides makes mine look more noobish. Good job Demon!

Possibly one of the most overrated yet my favorite AI pack: BBEANS Stock AI pack.
The reason is because of the AI pack containing a whole mix of Bots. One side of the mix is full of well designed and built Robots like R4, Copyright Infringement and one my personal favorites: Three Kings. Of Course, there's the other side of the mix,SFTW styled bots like the Baby warrior, Mr Fluffy and of course: Spinner from the West itself. There are better AI packs but I somewhat feel right at home having the good mix of Robots for the ones who just want to take out the champions like Dark-horses, or just to fight laughable bots against each other for entertainment.

What kind of weapons are you using? Retooled really strongly favors heavier weapons.
(ps plz make something Standard and enter Math Adventures)
Small Pole spikes if you need to know. They aren't that damaging but I didn't know about weapon effectiveness. Also, I don't have enough time to make an entry into Math Adventure due to me only starting to play Retooled only today. Even if I do make one, it probably be terribly rush. But you may never know or I'll just watch, even if I have to.

So Retooled, sounds great does it? Well, not completely for me. Since I'm still new to this Retooled businesses like anyone else, it leads to the problem that I don't have much of a clue on which parts are the most effective for competitive play and how to really build a good Retooled bot. So I decided to say "I'll try" and build an ****** ,unrealistic Retooled bot for a few good laughs and built with a few skills I learned from the other meta games. This Bot hasn't be built in Cheatbot2 which the game encourages and I wasn't aware of many other parts, but just throw your criticism at this Pop-up and I'll build something better or Realistic.  The Snappers I'm use are a little Havoky, even when I've downloaded the Beta version of the Mod with the patch applied. Seeing that more work needs to be done, but I'll wait.

Yes, I do like the chassis paint job but the flipper could use a little beauty treatment like using the extender pack combined with the armor pack if do please, or just use the extenders. Sometimes I find it best to connect the chisels to a single skin hinge so you can adjust the ground clearance to get under other Robots easier. Just don't make it too low otherwise your Bot will be hanging off the floor. Also try using TWM3R for the drive. It may give lower drive power than the ones you're currently using, but this will give you enough weight spare to add better armor or a storm (VDMA) front hinge burst piston if your intention is to make a middle weight. But do keep up the good work. Also what Armour are you using?
Thanks Dark-Al, ok so new flipper slightly thinner but still works well. Was able to keep the drive and increase the weapon (But I have made two other versions with each of these separate features, low drive & high power weapon then vice versa. The flippers now red. Finally it's Pl10. Batteries might be lack luster though no too sure.
Inferno VI:
Well with some of those extenders, you make much nicer connecters to any Robots. Good choice for the Armour and switching the basic VDMA with a Storm VDMA, it much better in terms of power and with the battery power look fine. For the Armour, Plastic 10 can with stand a beating but still handy to use. But it's up to you if you ever want to enter either version to a tournament, I'm just giving advice.

Edit: Also some of the questions are a little vague like "I would rather go to the theater than to a museum." can all depend really depend on if there's anything you fancy in the Theater or the Theater has no good movies to watch. Beg to differ if you wish.

Seeing that you are taking Robots from the Bot exchange and AI packs for this personal tournament, I'm cool with that. Since you are using bots from the bot exchange, I'm giving you permission to use my middle-weight Pop-up for one of the pools. Whatever you do just select the one with RODA on the end because my other middle-weight is just a piece of old shame from when I new on the site. Ok it's average at least but the other one is better built.
I don't know why I'm giving permission, but go ahead and have fun if you wish.
Edit: Was meant to say that the other Middle-weight robot without the RODA is old shame and not the other.

I was really bored. Carbide just did a rerun of what tombstone did in Battlebots by reaching the finale twice and winning the stuff in the second attempt. I hope they change the format. I was close to shut the stream off cause it was so predictable and boring.
Yes, there are parallels between Carbide's S9 run and Tombstone's S2 run with both bot being defeated in the Final of the first Reboot series then going to win the next series undefeated, but at least the producers of Metro didn't changed the rules to help Carbide win this series unlike the producers of ABC despite the few scares for both bots in their runs. But still boring if you just want a match to last 3 minutes.
About the Format, it nice to have more battles for mainly entertainment purposes, but just turns a large majority of the later head-to-head rounds into a brutal gauntlet of Spinners heavily dominating the round and just tearing up the whole place, forcing builders to hastily repair their Robots and often forced to go limp into the arena for the next fight hoping to survive the next fight and not make too many major repairs. This reason isn't always the case like watching Episode 2 again when most of the Roboters could make minor repairs and only one team had to make major repairs, but Episodes in Series 9 like EP4 is a prime example of the reason such as with Pulsar for example that had to use the SRIMECH weapon to power the weapon motor or a better example: EP5 with Apollo with the Robot heavily damaged after the first Carbide encounter forcing the team to repair the flipper within the two hours which couldn't slot back into place. When I'm focusing on one team per episode: just both Episodes or watch the entire series and you'll see why.

Another useless post of me summing up my opinions on this episode of Robot Wars and congratulation Carbide, which they'll never see this post anyway if it isn't too painfully obvious. In personal opinion, Apollo shouldn't of got the wildcard. Ok I don't care if Apollo was the current champion and won the Judge's criteria, I've felt that Thor was more deserving of the wildcard due to scoring more points in the Head-to-heads (6 (Thor) to 5 (Apollo)) and being better protective against spinners for a spinner dominated Final, compared to Apollo if you do remember when it faced Carbide despite what happen Thor in its Head-to-Head against Concussion but I know points aren't everything here.
As for the Matches, the Matches for me ranged from on the edge of a seat like a football match to as quick as flipping a coin. It wasn't like a random flip of a coin when anything can happen, but more on the lines of so quickly, its disappointing despite the random nature of Robot Combat. The only fight which got me excited was the AfterShock vs Eruption match, which wasn't over in two seconds and made me excited to watch to see who'll win in the end and hope there won't be a three way tie. The post matches were more than ever to be more of the Drama to just hope like any other average viewer to see if the teams can get their Robots ready in time.
Still, please have a say about what you think and celebrate for the new champion: Carbide! (I'm not that overly excited, just glad)

What you have put forward is very large,clearly obvious task for all member. If everyone can get to together, then the Wiki will no longer be a deserted junkyard which anyone can just decide to trash up/ leave it to rot and already, nobody never uses it like a dead website. It may be difficult because not every users will contribute to help (If you're one of these users, may you be left behind on the ground.), but if everyone does make a contribution to clearing the wiki up, we'll end up getting somewhere at least.
I may be stating the plain obvious but seriously, just help out!
For me, I would like to help out for the sole reason for putting back a purpose in the Wiki. If no one really uses the Wiki, then the Wiki button should no long be in the hot bar and be replaced with something like the Bot Exchange which should deserve its place. But putting back life will keep the Wiki's true purpose and will be no longer be considered obsolete as YTMND and will deserve its place in the hot-bar where it needs to be.
But still, how to get everyone to help out for once?
Not everyone's going to help. But the ones who don't? **** 'em. We'll do what we can without them, and if the plan falls through, it's because people refused to help.
Unpopular opinion time: All I'm say is that if everyone does help, we can clean out the wiki quickly and restore it to the former glory. There will be some users that decide not to help and it's fine by them. If they don't want to then the people who do what to help, can carry on. Look at it as a community project, if only a few help then the job will take a long time, but if everyone helps then the job is done quicker. I don't want to say that the ones who refuse shall be left behind (I said it once and now I don't want to say it again) But the ones who refuse won't have a say on how everything goes in the Wiki. Personally they not want to have a say because they don't want to be involved, but when people start helping out, they might look twice or just decide it was best decision they've made.

I'm sorry that I don't post that often. Social stuff causes me a lot of anxiety and I go through periods where I abandon social media and forums and all that. Hope everyone is doing well. 
Great to see ya here again, Battlebots Update dude. The forums are doing quite well at the minute, and are still thriving.
Also, I'm not sure if you have seen, but there is now DSL 2.2, a newer upgrade to 2.1's DSL that rebalances a lot of things. You should go and check it out - its quite good.
I've seen a lot of your work for BattleBots update and I cannot think how many times you made me laugh countless times. But seriously, you should check out DSL 2.2 but be wary, there's been a lot of IRL tournaments going on around DSL 2.2 so just expect more IRL buiding than DSL-S from when you were gone. But it's nice to see you though.
