the 'base' determines what values RA2 will accept, its the same reason bursts cannot be changed to take air
in this case Piercing and concussion values will only be accepted if 'base = weapon'
Edit: also storm back has the piercing and concussion values around the wrong way if your wanting the balance for the sledge hammer

yep, or just extract files into a sub folder inside the Infogames one (extact to Infogames/DSL, Infogames/Stock, etc) I currently have 29 different RA2 installs

I enjoy the screw ups like when dooms game loaded first and he was spinning around becasue he thought he immobilized me, then mine loaded and I started attacking him and on his game his robot was just randomly falling apart while I was being counted out :P
