If worse comes to worse, you could just control the walkerbots manually.

I like this bot. It reminds me of one of my older bots, Giga Metallicus.

Before I start building I have to ask.  Are you able to AI walkers like what I sent last time.

I mean, this could be the next part of the poll as true walkers can be an utter pain to AI. It all depends, really.
I'll take this as a "no."  Abandoning SHW walker.
I think I'll make one.

Quickly becoming my new favourite robot, I decided that Slambulance could really do with some fixing as it had some MAJOR design flaws.
Completely reworked the internals, extender work, weapons, and a few other things here and there. Plus I gave it a fresh new skin as well.
Four Astroflights with Hypno wheels for drive, medium VDMA for the hammer, Flatmotor for the spinner, and Storm Burst for the flipper.
Weapon setups are fairly straightforward, there's a big sledgehammer, vertical spinner, and front hinge flipper. Robogames champion or bust.
I like the hammer handle design on the first one. Good job.

Could we have an example of what a full-fledged walker would look like? Does it have to be AI-able or can it use things like burst motors or pistons for locomotion?

The new motors and stuff are a fun idea, but an entire total conversion seems like a monumental task. I'd advise just making as many IRL packs as possible until eventually, you have enough stuff alone to make a total conversion pack. Maybe add some more in terms of weapons and wheels, things that you haven't done much work on before.

I think you've done an incredible job with the armor plates and extenders, which, in my opinion, are the hardest part of the whole project. You've already done basically the foundation of new IRL robots.

Here's an odd idea: In the scenario we can't get the right kind of motors to work, fit, or move the crazy IRL structures we build, would making miniature cheat motors be ok? I know that I liked using modded chicken motors and burst wedges for my custom component replicas. Maybe if someone wanted to take on something more ambitious, they could use these cheat components. Hell, I may even be able to help you with it! I know how to program components and test them!

Good stuff guys! Here's a failed replica of 2004 Tombstone with custom painting:

Now, your probably wondering why I said this is a "failed" replica. Well, let's look at the chassis:

And here's the real one:

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
I'll post the rebuild along with the next version of Tombstone.

What I wanna see is an IRL stock tournament. That's almost never been done before and we'd get a lot of unusual designs in a desperate bid to look original.

"Why not just use DSL 2.2?"

Shut up, we've done that WAY too much now. Doing an IRL tourney in stock or maybe even Ironforge would be pretty unique of an experience.

Double post, this time here's an actual replica. It's the 2004 SHW version of Tombstone, built using all DSL2.2 and IRL components. So, if you have the components packs, you can have this bot! I'll be putting him on the BotExchange as a UHW. (He was ALMOST a proper SHW, but sadly it didn't pan out that way.)

I'll make another version with less extender work. I think I'll try making all the Tombstone/Last Rites robots. Just for fun.

Quite enjoy the extender work on Sanchez
Thanks, I'm quite proud of it myself.

Here's an upgraded BigJigglyPanda, equipped with rollbars and smaller flippers.
