Bleach was alright, but I finally got tired of all the filler. You just made me remember how much I hate anime filler vampires. why you all hatin on naruto...Dumb characters, plot points that pop-up at random, samey action and a plot that becomes almost as complicated as One Piece's. 4625

Generally I consider Laputa-The Castle In The Sky Ghibli's biggest achievement, followed by Princess Mononoke (which I consider my No. 4 film) then Howl's Moving Castle (based of a book by Diana Wyn Jones; correct me if I'm wrong).

Cosplay is ridiculously stupid. 4629

Cool, but move the exterior E-Teks to the end of the DSL bars so they're less exposed to VS.

Just stay away from crap like DBZ, Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh and other stuff oriented towards hyperactive 13-year-olds.QFT. Naruto sucks and the other two are plot-less abominations. 4633

The popup only really needs normal Z-Teks. I'd also scrap the caster armour and get a wedge.

DSL TC Showcases / Re: Mad-man 3's DSL showcase« on: May 07, 2011, 02:34:59 PM »Not too bad. Might be a tad slow, but I reckon it should do fairly well.I think that generally it doesn't matter how fast the motors are; it's generally the weight offset which occurs when the slightly heavier side is thrown forwards. Faster motors aften cause bots like this which are ever so slightly unbalanced to jump in the air. 4636

Discussion / Re: "Ultimate" Robot Challenge.« on: May 07, 2011, 11:23:43 AM »But TRFBD's get outweaponed easily. Not on a HW, and on a MW it isn't crucial as said weapons aren't exposed by low flying razors; higher discs have less HP. I'm not sure if you guys got the idea of the original TRFBD concept. It does not require huge speed; indeed, it was an idea to strip off top armour (usually just by flopping on top of things) and shell; one of my earliest (and worst, because I used a huge chassis before I adopted 123's DSL Bar wheel connectors) TRFBDs used only Piglets, and was still capable of slaughtering gut rippers. If you bear in mind how much weight could be spent of weapons, it could probably have the most weapons of any bot type other than shell spinners, which have plenty of space on top to attack. |
