Tournament Archives / Re: General Tournament Discussion« on: March 17, 2013, 08:06:44 PM »Yes insult my grammar to try and get a reaction, congratulations you've noticed a grammar mistake that an iPhone has corrected incorrectly. Also the fact that me and conraa are both roboteers has nothing to do with me agreeing with him, I agree just as much with Mr.AS and is he a roboteer? No. The attention seeking insults will indeed stop when you give your reasoning but until then they will keep coming because there is literally no point in keeping them secret other than the fact that you want attention.I admit, that the "grammar" card was a bad card, but how can I know about this, why You are using an autocorrect, can You type by yourself? Allowing the iPhone to mistake for You has the same guilty, as if You posted it. So take the consequences (I'm speaking theoretically). You can't agree with Mr. AS, since I prove him wrong, if You are following all posts. The attention seeking insults need to be punished if You ask me. If You, Conraa or anyone want the reason, then better start guessing, so far the "host stealing my bot" assumption is incorrect. Next try please... 464
Tournament Archives / Re: General Tournament Discussion« on: March 17, 2013, 07:42:33 PM »Seriously man, stop acting like your intellectually superior, your not.Ohoo, brothers in roboteering helping each other... Call more minions... Check your grammar before talking about an intelligence... I'm not a native english speaker and I don't (at least) mistake "you are" and "your"... "Tournament hosts don't need to make a vote or to ask who is giving their bots, they just need to specify it in the begining" Did You read this before You posted? I promise, I will tell him the reason, after he try some guesses. But then what will happen to your "attention seeking" insults? 465

We're big boys, we can handle the truth.I'm complaining about your complain of my complain. We can go like this forever. Adding a short line to the OP doesn't mean something is broken, You are just making a elephant out of a fly. Also, I feel your posts as trolling with insultive assumptions. @ Mr. AS : It's not that what I fear... 466

I will not answer You, because You will read my answer without understanding it. Instead, I will leave You to think for yourself what would be my reasons, and what it will change. When You came up with the right answers, You will understand me and respect my opinion, also You will look like a very smart person in my eyes... 467
Tournament Archives / Re: General Tournament Discussion« on: March 17, 2013, 05:53:03 PM »Yeah these things aren't that big of deal tbh. Does it really change the tournament? It's amazing, Venko. All these things that no one has ever complained about you seem to hate with a burning passion.1. It's not a big deal for the host to post a short line with a info about the releasing of the bots in a AI pack... 2. I have the rights to post opinions and defend them. Do You think I care what the mainstreamers think? Search for some info in the net or read books, the history and the discoveries are not made by mainstremers. 3. I don't want to discuss my reasons to want this, because the evidence material will insult indirect a lot of people. 4. "...hate with a burning passion..." Please don't make any assumptions of what I feel or think, they are not true and trollish... 5. The only think that I don't understand is the reason of your post. Are You complaining about my complaining, or You just have a problem with a people that think different, or just want to troll with assumptions, or just want to increase the post counter, or just want to forbid to people to post opinions about new stuff they care? Answer please, I don't want to make assumptions. Can You tell me also, what is the constructive part in your post that actually will do something good for the RA2 community? I'm not from the people that will remain silent under the pressure from the "mainstream bullies", just 'cos I have a different opinion. Everyone feel free to try me... 468

A general question :
Why the DSL bots are always made with more awesome skins than the stock bots??? *drooling at Maddenator...* 470
Tournament Archives / Re: General Tournament Discussion« on: March 16, 2013, 11:41:05 AM »
Do it, copy this. Tournament hosts don't need to make a vote or to ask who is giving their bots, they just need to specify it in the begining, so people will have the choise to enter or not, or to enter with not a so secret and good bot.

Tournament Archives / Re: General Tournament Discussion« on: March 16, 2013, 11:28:12 AM »
I think, that We need a new rule in the "tournament host rules" section :
The tournament hosts must include a info in the very begining (before the sign ups) about are they going to release the bots in any form (an AI pack for example). Not all people are agree to send their very good bots if they will be included in an AI pack later, available to all. 472
Tournament Archives / Re: All Round Bot Builder Championship« on: March 16, 2013, 11:12:35 AM »
Theory :
Yes 18 (62.1%) Practice : ...I really want this tournament to start. ![]() Your "word" is enough for me for now. Expect a PM with a link and details soon. I think, that the order in the AI pack, must follow the real sending order, not the one You specified in the first post. 473

Sometimes You build bots for fun and pleasure, even if they are not the most combat efective in the world, I have lots of bots like this, even unshowcased, due to lack of time.

Tournament Archives / Re: All Round Bot Builder Championship« on: March 16, 2013, 10:49:38 AM »
OK, I will send them VERY soon, but :
1. Since all my 5 bots are thematically skinned, I made also a team pic for them on the same thematic. I want that pic to be used for my team whenever possible. 2. After I send You my bots, and let's say You didn't get enough entrants to start the tournament, You delete my bots from your hard drive permanently and not using them in any pack or for anything, or even worse, giving any of them to someone else. Consider yourself 2 feets underground if you do this. I'm not agree to give them for an AI pack, if the tournament never happen! 3. You have to promise, that the first entrants won't have any disadvantages in the tournament later. 475
Contests / Re: BOTM April 2013« on: March 16, 2013, 10:29:57 AM »I'm easily beatable, just need more entries :PYou are an AW lover and guru. I was like this for UHW, that's why I built like ~30 of them. I think, that I can send You a 1 or 2 unique AWs for your pack, if I found some time to skin them, I don't have much AWs that are not a 1 WD HS... 476
Tournament Archives / Re: All Round Bot Builder Championship« on: March 16, 2013, 10:24:26 AM »
I think, that any of the bots can be shown in any way ONLY after the signups are closed. Show any of the bots (except yours of course) early and You will gain me as a mortal enemy and rage hater.
I understand that it's good to have the bots spreaded in time. First of all, You know that the first senders always are screwed up in many aspects (me in BBEANS for example). My doubts to sending them are, that I have doubts that You will get even 8 (even any entrants at all, exept me and You), and in this case I will just leaked mine bots for nothing. 477

The problem is not the "cheating", the problem is, that it will ruin stock and making it a BFE compactness contest. I can explain You some things, but I will just quit the dispute, I don't want to spam the guys thread.
So whatever... 478

Why no one (ClickB, StarC and so...) discovered and used this stacking before the "HAX MODE"? Coincidence? 480
Contests / Re: BOTM April 2013« on: March 16, 2013, 09:37:55 AM »You know, if you guys are having a hard time, multibots are allowed. - The bot must be between 3000 and ∞ kg.A NO NO! Even with a lack of a line defining this, it's forbidden by the red text, since it's "bot" not "bot/bots" or "bots". Take this rules literally and don't seek for a loopholes. As for Naryar, for example, using a square extenders to gain weight instead of red/black ones it's LEGAL, it's not a loophole. Also, using other cheap tactics as unnecessary thousand batteries and so, for example, ARE OK. You can use cheap tricks in the components choice, but still have to make your bot BATTLE efficient (NOT WEIGHT EFFICIENT). Feel free to ask what is legal and what not. |
