Welcome, to RIP3!
This is the tournament putting a fresh twist on clusterbots, with LW/MW clusters, which must have differing types (with flails and popups banned) and a team name/theme.

It was neither funny nor soul crushing, this must be said. Your powers are weak. Less Evil Overlord and more Sir Benevolent right now.
Savior of Love out.
PAH, YOU ARE DISGUSTINGLY TACKY TO ME! SAVIOR OF LOVE? WHAT A PATHETICALLY PRETENTIOUS TITLE!

You got caps lock stuck. ;)

Half hour 'til the SBV thread

Why not open up a DSL showcase? It'll be the best way to gather advice.
BUT, here's some generic advice. Do not use Piglets as drive motors, you need NPC's or NPC Fasts on this, maybe with gripper wheels like Vlads or Hypnos.
You don't need to use the big batteries - any spin motor can be powered sufficiently by it's own ant battery - so this needs 3 ant batteries, maybe 4. This may help it.
Also, you could free up a lot of weight by making the chassis a lot shorter.

As the coverage said, the medals at the London Olympics appear to be like London buses - you wait ages for 1, then 2 come round at once.

Press F11, then it'll go into the 'screenshots' folder of your RA2 directory - then, open it up, save it as a png (bmps are too big) and upload it here! :D

Neheheheh. I just wanted to freak you out a little. :P

IN OTHER NEWS Wolfsbane and Enigma are out unless I receive a valid update in the next 7 and a half hours.

That's the best non-cheatbot motor you can get. It might be the way you're using it on the bot that's causing a downfall - I know for sure I can take Grog very easily using a DSL bar on a dual perm with 2 70kg hammers. Feel free to upload a pic of it and put it here or start a showcase :P

ANYWAY 23 hours remain for Wolfsbane and Enigma to drop me valid updates :P

And actually, to address the whole impatience thing we had going on here, last night I spend 4 hours straight AIing around 12 teams and making splashes. I went through 2 Alien films, just because I knew if I was left with just the laptop doing it, I'd be driven mad.

Would you like emotional support with that ?

Only from you <3

Why look at that! My signature has changed!

Not long now guys - in fact, about 35 hours at most.
The brackets are done, AIing/splashes are done (except for the last 3 teams), it's all ready!

Too late unfortunately. I should probably say this, signups are OFFICIALLY CLOSED (apart from those 5 I am waiting for). No more updates, and no new entrants.

Yeah, I used to build it but couldn't get hold of it after completing the first version of Cybot. A year or so later, one of my dads work friends gave me his entire Cybot, practically finished, for free. I'm led to believe it's still pretty worthless now, despite how expensive (and fun) it was to collect/build.
