Uhh, I didn't see my bot at all in the eliminators of Round 1. Editing mishap? I guess it doesn't matter much since I lost. I probably shouldn't have entered Kaiser if I knew everyone and their dog were gonna enter popups.
he may have forgot to record the match in the first place since this happened in the first revolution

-Swap the drive to normal Z-teks and put shines on. (375 kg) -Use one extender to hold your weapons like this  (363 kg) -Attach the T-extender holding the weapon motors directly to the blue snapper and flip the weapon motors so the axles are facing upwards (361 kg) -Swap the Nifty for a black (375 kg) -Have the inner weapon be a mace (387 kg) -Have the outer weapon be a bear claw (393 kg) i think i mathed correctly.

It's for Stock RA2, and if you downloaded RA2 from this site it's already 1.4 patched. If you for some reason don't have V1.4 already, you just unrar the .exe and run the .exe

ehhh i don't really think it's that good, chassis is really big without any protection plus the extender work isn't really good. i also thing 6 motors is a waste a weight, but i guess it doesn't really matter that much since it did its only job of winning that challenge.

I still think that forcing a single meta for a whole month for a title, and only having one title, is really dumb.
i don't get the first part of what your saying, the only thing the meta will be used for is the bracket/title fight. you can qualify for it by winning ANY challenge during the month for ANY meta, and once you win the challenge you can just send in your bot for the meta picked for that months challenge belt right away then. as for the 2nd part, nobody has cared about the titles until just recently from what appears for the reason of trying to beat lra2/lra2 sh**talking about being DSL HW title champion, so i'm not sure why its dumb to replace 16 titles that nobody seems to care about (the fact half them havent even been claimed/fought over in over a year is proof of that) with an actual forum title is dumb. plus nobody is stopping you from keeping track of """unofficial""" titles on your own anyways. I say do the bracket and if the eventual challenger and champion both agree on IRL at the start, then the actual defense happens in IRL, if they don't agree then the title defence happens in the meta used for the main bracket.
can you give me a good reason as to why people who have bots already built for a certain meta and probably rather skilled builders in stock/dsl/ironforge would just decide they would want to built new bots just to fight an dsl-irl fight. also i would like to know why you never had a problem with the idea 8 months ago when i first posted it an didn't include IRL in it and you said +1 this should be implemented ASAP
as others said this basically just seems to be something you are only against, and i dont understand why you expect people to bend over backwards for your considering your reputation in this community and various other robotic communities

Yes. the only point of your system is to allow for IRL, but it doesn't even fix the problem. it just makes the whole system convoluted and not as fun. sorry you disagree, but I like 090901s idea (with the caveat that the champion always decides the meta).
dragonfire, thanks for getting this set up and ready to go by next month!
It allows for ALL metas to be used, not just the Core 3. It doesn't hurt the system in any way. If you won't run it this way, I would gladly do it, unofficially or officially.
IRL can easily be adapted to competition. Simply make it so that the realism rules are more strict than DSL-S's, and that's it. Especially considering everybody is going for the win when they go on the challenge board, and so "tryharding" isn't a problem there cause that's literally the entire point of the challenge board.

so what's the point of your idea other than you wanting to shoehorn IRL into a challenge belt match which i really doubt will ever happen since i fail to see why people who just won a bunch of competitive matches and have bots already built would want to do an IRL match.

fyi i was the one who posted that yesterday but sage deleted the topic and instrad just quoted my post and posted it here instead of merging @dragonfire i would say start date of the challenge @badger in case you didn't read the post, i already had the metas limited to just stock, dsl-s, ironforge, and maybe dsl-irl. also the whole point for the first month is to make it open since challenge board titles really dont mean anything. @shield thats dumb, since imo i feel like if someone wants the belt, they should have to step i to the comfort zone of thr champion, not the other way around. as for the irl thing, i dont really have that much of a problem with it if its what the champion picks for that month since you can't pick the same meta 2 months in a row.
