you wouldn't be the first to do so, its quite a common use for that part being so light for what it can achieve  Also, aren't there better weapons than Large beater bars?
yeah for this application you would want better weapons.. razors would be nice attached to the faces of the disc's

you could ditch the multi extenders and flipper segments for only a skirt hinge to get pretty much the same effect for less then half the weight then shorten the wedges by one size, drop the materiel to say Aluminum and get some weapons in the middle of the disc's

Quick rule overview:
Havok = restart. Only 1 free restart in this case.
Matches will be in RIP2 arena unless specified otherwise.
If skirts are caught under the fence, I will restart. This will only happen a maximum of 2 times.
If you go OOTA in the RIP2 arena, you are automatically out, whether you bounce back in or not.
No BFE, AAM, Zero-G or Exostacking etc.
All realistic, of course (whaddya take me for? :P)
New Multibots (For New Blood) ARE allowed. Max 550kg for one, but both must add to under 800. If 1 is out, both are out. Carnage events are not appropriate for the existing multibot (Sorry Doomkiller :P)
3 Minutes a match.
1 Match - not best outta three or anything (sorry)
Glitches that cause realism are allowed - relative Effeing, Snapper Loading, Axle Loading etc is allowed for realistic purposes.
These are the rules, they cannot change. Signs ups thread expires on the 30th of October (30 days) unless completed sooner (hosts discretion). It may remain open longer however, if there is no place in Brackets/ Videos section at the time. [/end professionalism] F*** YEAH RIMP IS STARTING :P

I haz answers first off props for doing it with flails but (I am sorry to inform you) your not the first to use servo pistons to make the flames reach out further. https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,1679.405.htmlthe increasing speed seems to be a strange way of doing FB's Gyratory glitch, though not that same thing thats what I would put it down to (wouldnt say Servo boosting but its the Gyratory effect no doubt) finally your axles are trinity-ing same as my Gyratory Reborn did to achieve even faster speeds. that should explain it all still and original application though

just path block with supply depots and have Seige tanks out of harms way behind them
just place 1 SCV for every Suppy Depot and you have a pretty damn unstoppable blockade for ground units passing through
