Escape The Fate - Ashley

I love it when the Metalheads get all worked up over music  :trollface
MY EARS

THEY ARE RUINED

Yet you listen to screaming children complaining about how they hate you so much. Odd.
Wut?
The average metalcore vocalist.

Oh no worries. I really have nothing against ya'll British folks either.  And I'm not really that easily offended.
Yeah, thanks.

People in Oklahoma are really nice.
....unless you're black
Maybe they are pretty ignorant round there then XD

Hooray, I had a sports day. In about 23 degrees D:
You brits are just jelly.
You Americans are just ignorant.

Mostly.
I can't really argue with that....

Well, we did elect Obongo. But overall that statement is offensive and highly unfair.
Sorry about that, I was joking but evidently I wasn't very clear.

Just so you know, some of my best friends are Americans, so I apologize for that.

You dissed his music.

He may have done it, but you really should know better.
I never said the song sucked, what I meaning is that Ray William Johnson sucks.
Don't the song much though.
Woops, my bad.
Sorry for my anti Enigma-Jonzu flame war alarm going haywire, it's just that I'm getting a little more paranoid in my old age :P

Kreator Sucks

Modern Talking - Cheri Cheri Lady
Well, we are entitled to our own opinion.
So's he, so grow up.

OR ELSE, BUDDY...

Agalloch is fairly cool but I'm no Black Metal fan.

I don't listen to it for the religion part, religion's bullsh** (But BOT, theres already a thread for that) and I don't see why Christian Metal, Post-Hardcore or Metalcore sucks so please enlighten me on that one

Noise noise noise.  It's all noise to me and it's all been done before in my opinion.

Enter inevitable argument of impending doom.
Thrash and Death Metal are. Most thrash sounds the same and I only like a few Melo Death bands, other than that gimme a Post-Hardcore song anyday.

Plain White T's - Hate is a Strong Word
Rather than involving playing instruments and that being the focus of the music (which is ideally the exact philosophy of thrash; music relying on riffs that sound good, catchy or impressive; death metal is more focused on aggression and further technicality), metalcore, deathcore and post hardcore rely on a philosophy which either directly rips off elements from either Metallica or Pantera (the particular style of riff that Metallica pioneered is used by almost every metalcore band; Many bands use Pantera's synchronized double bass/tremolo picking).

In addition, the music is focused around an audience; metalcore bands tend to aim their music at teenagers and style their lyrics appropiately; almost always leads to immature lyrics which sound even worse when you have a twenty year old screaming like an idiot. Death metal at least tries to focus it's music around making music for themselves, unless the band is some Soilwork clone or something. Add to that repetitive musicianship and un-adventurous song structure filled with generic riffs either directly immitating Metallica or playing boring low notes on a 7 string and you pretty much have the common all-garden metalcore band. Deathcore makes little improvement due to a lack of musical variety. You might be, "But death metal isn't varied at all", but generally with a mix of melodic, slow and breakneck-fast styles it's far more so than Deathcore or Metalcore.

Thrash involves strait-up-playing and more mature lyrical themes while death metal is more technical, varied, and less generic with its lyrics and playing.

Some bands are better, like Between The Buried And Me or The Black Dahlia Murder, but on the whole metalcore/deathcore/christian metal is a very bland area of music.

Christian Metal sucks.
Basing music round religion is fanatical and uncool.

Guys, this glitch could be as sporadic as axle size distortion, so don't just assume things :P

What about my idea of the different tourneys?

Normal Stock
and
Super Stock

If anyone wants to do a normal stock tournament, they have to sign a little treaty thingy (I need a name for that...) pinned to the top of the signups section. They can't compete without signing it, and if they are caught trying to submit a superstacking bot, they are banned from all stock tournaments for a certain amount of time. My idea was forever but maybe we could do 1 year and then forever or something. Just make the punishment so outrageous that nobody would try it.
Problem is that that will separate users into two halves, and the super stock users probably won't join in normal stock tourneys.

...and I dont know how to do it.

I barely use glitches. I barely build HS'es. TT_TT
I don't build HS's either, I'm a VS, FS and Popup guy. Still use snapper loading every now and then.

Anyway, Sage made a vid at some point on how to do it.

We can just ask for video proof of any suspicious stacks.
And that's extremely inconvenient and a fairly lengthy process.

Don't worry, a guitar that cheap won't exactly sell anyway.

That is just a trait of Basswood, it tends to get dented relatively easily. Still a great tonewood, and it's better than the Agathis ones Scorp tried.

Just be careful with it, I've kept my Basswood  AND second hand Ibanez RG320PG alive and basically undamaged for a little while.
