Just to wait till it's "possibly" finished.Glad to hear that AWS 52 went quite well, especially if you made it to the quarter final is worth a real achievement for yourself anyway. So moving away from your success, I got to love the logo on Phantom fox for the only reason being happens to be with the fox drawings you gave to Phantom Fox, fitting the theme of the phantom title well like painting a bot to a theme.(Image removed from quote.) 404

One last question: What with the thick wedge above the screwdriver? Do you have any plans to use it, or it's just there till some time in the future? 405
Contests / Re: VOTE BOTM JULY 2017« on: July 01, 2017, 07:20:41 AM »I do respect your opinion Avalanche. I personally do like Number 2 for the fact of being a perfect replica of the Nuke cannon from C&C Generals, but half of the time some people like you may look for something that not only looks more practical like number 4 and also follows the rules more perfectly similar to bots like 3 or 1, but more on the lines of Bots that don't use OBJRA2 wizardry to make real arty bots for the purpose of BOTM, but being more prefer to properly designed bots fresh in the Bot lab. If you remember back to February's BOTM when Apanx made a model of Twilight Sparkles in OBJRA2, users like J love it, but most users didn't wanted to see a empty chassis that just shoots lighting on the front page, they wanted something more real like the actual winner of that BOTM which you know as a proper bot with a purpose of fitting the month's theme.Number 2: I'm sorry but no. I don't like OBJRA2 robots that can't actually fight and are entirely custom parts/objra2 chassis parts. It's impressive, but I don't want this sort of bot on the front page. Apologies, Apanx. So I may of ending up voting for number 2 out of being a purely awesome bot, but knowing your tastes you rather vote for something else, which is ok and I respect that, but number 2 is already the result of all the upcoming BOTMs since February when some people will just create OBJRA2 bots for the purpose of BOTM. 406

My verdict on this "month's" BOTM:
1. Not the best splash in the world. But, you got to like the theme of shooting cannonballs to set fire a few things. Love the armour work. 2. HOLY ****ING *****! It's the Nuke Cannon from Command and Conquer Generals! Never spammed them in game but seriously, there must of been some sort of GTM tech Wizard working OBJRA2 to full extent. 3. I don't get the reference since I don't watch Jojo. But nice use of the Alcoholic Stepfather wheels on the other hand. 4. Nice Generic Ironforge bot. Movi.... opps I've reach the end of the list. Well, that was some turn out some sort of BOTM. Despite only being Four entries due to some of us having exams and real life, the quality of BOTM always seeks to please me with these arty bots and how much some people put into BOTM, just to reach the home page for personal achievement. 407
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Dark-Al's DSL showcase (Definitely Something Lengthy)« on: June 30, 2017, 02:46:30 AM »Not bad, I suggest getting more drive, batteries and some powerful bursts, also what armor? If you need to know Neon, it's Titanium 5. In addition, I also working on a re-build to make the bot look more like either Constrictor or Merlin from Robot Wars/ UK live events. 408

After hearing about Yugitom's GTM Live tournarment, I have tasked myself in building a HW for when Sign-ups open. Of course by now, I've finished my A level exams (finished them on Tuesday to be exact), I have a little more time to play around. But moving to the point, this bot isn't finished and I need to ask for some advice on how to finish this bot and any changes I'll need to make to make this bot a little more IRL. So this is what I'm been building:

Tournament Archives / Re: [DSL IRL HW & BW] GTM Live« on: June 29, 2017, 02:42:57 AM »
I honestly think the so-called Beetleweight class idea may seen like a good idea, but if happen to be someone like me, you may realize on how difficult it is in actually build an actual good looking Beetleweight when you have so many heavy parts like colourful armour plates that take up most of the 175kgs that you have on hand. I'm aware that there are many parts that are some what light in DSL like the ant blades and such ,and there are many good, almost IRL beetles in tournaments like Forest Fire, but most of the beetles will end-up being mostly thick, chassis like MR Log or my own BMPR. So, I do suggest of upping the weight limit to something like light-weights, so people can make good, flax featherweight robots without worrying about the lower weight limit and having more weight to play around with without properly destroying the idea of Feather-weight robots. Or just set your own custom weight class for something like 200kgs for instants.
One final question: Is there any possible limits on weaponry like Frenzy Hammers and Overkill Blades? 410
Tournament Archives / Re: [Stock HW/IF MW] Mr. Applesauce's Double Feature« on: June 28, 2017, 02:08:49 PM »
Both tournaments of this double feature look good and have the right amount of creamy memes (More for Grogs adventure, but less for BattleWars). But knowing that it's both in two meta-games I'm not proficient in, I may give them a good go. Besides, not only I'll learn something, but might as well give another meta-game a try for BattleWars. Also, you should of called BattleWars: Extreme BattleWar Games-Arama World Series Challenge Live. If this title doesn't work, I challenge one of you to come up with something better

I've already said Happy Birthday in the chatterbox, but I might as well say it here to leave a mark. So Happy Birthday Thrackzod! Mega-tournament host and Champion of many tournaments, including the Ribcage Rampage!
Edit: This was worth the 300th post. 414
Discussion / Re: RA2 Wiki« on: June 22, 2017, 02:56:52 PM »ON the RA2Wiki, IN Tournament wins, for BBEAMS 7, it said I won with CrappyUnIRLBoT, Number 1, Thats not what I entered, that was for a challenge, number 2, I did not WIN!!!!!, I was close to winning the Semi-Finals, But the flipper screwed me over, so I did not Win.The reason why you won was because of 09 used your CrappyUnIRL bot in the secret end battle, AIed with the PSI.py. Didn't you watch to the very end battle of BBEAMS when 09 declared that Apenx won the tournament but there was a secret challenger? If not, then watch it to have an better idea why you won Asbs. 415
Tournament Archives / Re: I Fought The Law - SBVA« on: June 22, 2017, 09:48:20 AM »what in the world is my robot supposed to beA Robot built by the one and only Pizzaguy? I believe it's actually a standard Flipper Thrack, though it's properly not a good one, but has a nice theme on the other hand. 416
Tournament Archives / Re: I Fought The Law - SBVA« on: June 22, 2017, 02:49:29 AM »
It's about time you've uploaded the SBV! The only why I built Malleus for this was all for the sake of "Two can play at this game!" after seeing the first law bot. Still, I should have a chance if my bot doesn't OOTA.

Custom Components Showcase / Re: Pay Tribute With Replicas« on: June 21, 2017, 03:05:16 PM »
I am aware that Icewave's bar is slightly forward towards to wedge than straight in the centre of the bot, but the bar doesn't look right. You got the bar colours right, but one end of the bar looks way shorter than the other end, not only knowing how the bot could become unbalanced very quickly to the lack of balance between both ends of the bar, but both ends of Icewave's bar are both at the same length.
Apart from that little mistake, both bots look pretty good so far. 418
Existing Games / Re: Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction« on: June 21, 2017, 08:53:26 AM »It's often just one of those features that were meant to be finished off, but the developers must either ran of time when making the game, or the game never went through major testing through all the game's features, resulting in the first person camera system never being completed properly. Still, do keep up the work with working with the game's source code. That's pretty impressive what you've done, tweaking the house Robot cameras like that so you can view in first person mode. It's good that you worked out how to fix the camera work, so I don't have anything else to say but well done.Yeah, I thought "why did the developers make point-of-view cameras, when they actually are just blocked by the chassis?"
