I don't see why people keep complaining about badniks bot. there have been others that used the blades and they were legal at the time.
I'm guessing it's a balancing issue. There were parts that allowed during BB7 like the Beta Hammer, and because the runner up used them for weapons, it caused a pretty big arguement resulting in MassimoV banning them.

yeah, but just because some bots used them in too big proportions means everyone can go BLOOP theirselves, then again as the one who caused the Beta Hammer to be banned, i guess i should shut the crap up and blast my head with a gun...

i must grab Gmod and join this thing, and fast....

Sent my piles of rotten scrap, i'm ready to be crushed like a little tin can on people s'road to victory

that sure was a bright idea (gonna commit suicide after this post because of how pathetic that pun was), shame there is no actual light components in RA2 tho, i guess you could do those lamps that use flames as a light source, but otherwise, but still, you manage yet again to put me crying in a corner with your win filled bots

To Badnik: While it would be his "fault" indeed, that doesn't mean we should ignore him and not give him advice so he doesn't get assraped first round

To Kurt: Can you just shut up edgy fool, your actions are encouraging Tibsy to give up on dsl, and we don't want that, RA2 is already dead enough

To Tibsy: don't give up on dsl, once you get the hang of it, you can do pretty badass things, just take a trip through scrap and vb s'showcases and you'll see what DSL can allow, also for that HW i recommend switching the current spikes on your tail with a hammer and maybe add a front wedge/plow/scoop so you could AI your bot so it shoves stuff with it when the tail is down, it would allow to score points, which would be crucial in the event of a JD or if your wedge has spikes or similar stuff, still allow you to cause damage

BBX prototype team:

LW:Ecclesia

Front hinged flipper with shallowass wedge, nothing much else to say....

MW: Hell Sender

4WD flipper with a 3 ram design i wanted to try for a bit of time

HW: Sky Toss

VS with an Electric Boogaloo inspired design (even tho it is nowhere similar to EB) and 2 spinning trifoils, also got 3 prongs to wedge stuff up

SHW: Xevious

When you combine a beater ram with a thwacker, and when a lameass builder is in charge of the fusion, you get this, meant to switch to Shove when the hammers on the tail are gone

all those bots with eyes, i better keep an eye on that showcase....

this aside, can this even drive straight at all ?

411
Nice spinner and if my math isn't too faily the number is 259 (nice reference to the robot wars competitor)

412
I believe either flipper or HS can do best on a KotH arena.

Not really sure about HS doing well, the knockback from their weapons can throw them off the ramp, i tried building one for thyrus s'tourney and that was a big issue in testing
send it anyway ;)

For it to fail and go total derp? , nope.avi

What abomination you just unleashed upon the RA2 World ?

rest of the team looks nice, good to see that Wasp is actually able to damage something now

Thinking you should delete this showcase i see ? Hah, want to see real suckiness ?, Take at look at about 90% of my showcase, here you will see what is a noobishness filled showcase, if any showcase should have been deleted long ago and who s'existence is a shame, it would be mine, but i kept going and now if you compare the last few bots i showcased with the first ones, the diference in quality is pretty big imo, all of this because i still played stock, even if i showcased my bots very rarely, even if most of my time i spent here was lurking, i still built more bots, to sharpen my skills, and one day, reach the levels of the top builders here, so NEVER, EVER, give up, if you apply the advice they give you and keep building, it will be only a matter of time before you climb in skill and practice, so hang in there and keep going...

Time to update this showcase again, and this time, i'm making an team for ASAI, or more like, a rebuild of some old unfinished team project for it that can be found in this noobishness-invaded wreck of a showcase, and here is one of the two MW i plan to include in this team: Walrus 11:

i was aiming to make a popup with a really small chassis, not sure if i successed, 5 razors, DSA, 1 black, 395ish kg, rest you can pretty much see, has yet to be tested but i feel that it's gonna be slaughtered by ASAI, oh well, at least i tried

this is my new AI pack to test my stock bots with, oh and btw AS, regarding the teams we can send to you, is there any rule regarding the weightclasses we have to use or how many bots of a certain weightclass can be in a team?

123 discovered at some point that skirt hinge wedges, if using only the middle connection point are on par, if not better than metal hinge wedge, and plus it doesn't AGOD

420

I just... Suck. That's how I think.

are you done saying flat-out nonsense ? you suck as much as i'm a three-headed ninja squid! you make some pretty badass stuff, and if you suck, then i must be the worst builder to have ever joined this forum, you are far, very far from sucking, so stop thinking stuff about yourself that is completely false....
