So I've come up with an idea, while I will still be in the planning phase and won't open for sign-ups until some of the other tournaments complete their sign-ups. I will open up for the first 8 spots! Why the first 8?
I want to make a cool intro for the episodes of, Game of Robot. So with the first 8 robots signed I will do some "Whiteboard matches/Exhibition matches" Used to help make the intro, so if you want your robot apart of the intro, follow the rules for the tournament, and send your Bot file to one of the two contacts I've provided on the first post, which I'll post again here.
Contact (To send me your bot file, along with the AI binding line): Discord: TKK3nta#4591 Email: brodiexsmith@yahoo.com.au (With the Subject of "GoR", if you wish to do it by email.)

It looks like I may be close to having Sign-Ups opened, but I will wait a little bit. Probably wait for a couple of the other tournaments to complete their sign-ups then I shall open mine. So that means there's plenty of time to make the robot that you want.
Also I should ask, what do you all think of the rules, the structuring/format?

Welcome to my first ever time hosting a public tournament, after getting my hands stuck into making my own IRL Robots, getting an idea of how they're built and the rules within building one. I want to make a tournament of my own and opened to the public to be able to come in and take part. This will be my first time hosting at one, so I hope, I do well by you all and hopefully gain your trust into doing more of this type of thing in the future. So without any further to do, before we can get onto the fun part. Here are the rules please take your time and read the rules carefully.RULES (These are mostly copied from the OW5 Ruleset as well as some borrowed from Doot's AN2 ruleset) (These rules are subject to change, until Sign-Ups are opened):- DSL-IRL ruleset - Robots must look as close to real-life designs as possible/insides must NOT be clipping through each other nonsensically. (Batteries inside motors, flippers passing through insides etc) - Heavyweight Only (600.1 KGS – 800.0 KGS) - RA2CF and DSC IRL packs are allowed and are encouraged for this tournament, along with skinned components. - BFE/OBJ are legal. - You must enter your OWN robots and not any that has been made for you. - One bot per person, although I may allow for more than one depending on how many people enter. - I prefer if you are able to AI your own robot or get someone else to do it, I may be able to do it myself, But I am still learning to do. So asking me to AI them should be your last option. - Make sure that your bot is Wired before sending it to me, this includes also naming the control - VERTS: 2 large teeth (15-24kgs) ex: Large Typhoon, Ripping Teeth, Large Nightmare, etc OR 4 small teeth (7-14kgs) ex: Small Typhoons, Cutting Teeth, Heavy DS Teeth, etc OR 6 Small/Medium/Large Beaters. - HORIZONTALS: 3 large teeth (15-24kgs) ex: Large Typhoon, Ripping Teeth, Large Nightmare, etc OR 4 small teeth (7-14kgs) ex: Small Typhoons, Cutting Teeth, Heavy DS Teeth, etc OR 6 Small/Medium/Large Beaters. - WEDGELESS DRUMS ONLY: Can use up to 10 Small, 8 Medium or 6 Large Beaters. Other teeth types would not be allowed on these bots. Yes, this also means wedgeless drums have more DP allowed than other spinners. - Mechavore/Minion discs are allowed, but limited to only 1. - Maximum allowed weapon weight of 100kgs for non-cosmetic damaging weapons allowed on a bot (including dsl bars). This does NOT include your weapon setup (disks, extenders, etc). - 2400 max dp allowed. - Use basic common sense if mixing weapons (ex: 4 small typhoons and 2 larges is not allowed)
- These robot types struggle as it is, therefore just don’t take the piss with them. (Example, 5 burst axe bot or sticking everything you can on one axe). - Front/Rear hinges are allowed up to 1 Beta Burst/Motor or 2 VDMA R/P Bursts/VDMA Front Hinged/Storm Burst/Mag Snappers - Top Hinges are allowed 1 burst/VDMA/Mag Snapper maximum.. - ALL flipper types must have a flipping arc of 90 degrees _| <- like that
- The only cheatbot2 parts allowed in this tournament are the Overkill/TDD servo motors, Razer Snapper Servos, Stock Bracket Wedges and the Stock Flamethrowers. - Flatmotors are banned.
- Damaging weapons on the front of rammers/wammers are banned. - All DSL 2.2 IRL edition armors allowed - Skirts only allowed on dustpans with proper support - Free hinges/axles are banned for wedges/wedgelets. - Ant Blades are banned for all bot types. - No EternalFlame.py or logic. - No servos UNLESS you can AI it yourself then feel free to send me the servo bot with the AI. - No meltybrains. - Clusterbots are banned. - No weapon spam or stacking. - No excessive extender spamming/stacking (Extenderbots are allowed of course but if you use extenders to armour your bot…. just use the armour panels!)
- The fights will take place on the Robot Wars 2016 Arena. - The fights will last for 3 minutes, if no clear at the end of the 3 minutes. I shall do the judging. - I’ll be marking the fights on Control, Damage and Aggression. All criteria’s a worth 5 points. - A robot is considered to be immobilized if any of the criteria are met in a match. -- The 'bot's chassis has been destroyed and thus has been immediately knocked out. -- The 'bot is unable to move in a controlled fashion on its own, such as if one wheel has been taken off while its still able to move. This will start the countdown for the 'bot in question. -- If all locomotion has been stripped off, the countdown is reduced to 10 seconds before its eliminated. -- The 'bot is completely unstable and cannot move without shaking out of control, such as if an overhead spinner has lost one half of its weapon and cannot re-stabilise to move properly. - If a 'bot meets any of these criteria, a 30-second countdown is self-imposed by me, reduced to 10 seconds if all locomotion is gone. Once the countdown is up, the 'bot is eliminated regardless of what happens. - The crash patch makes fights a lot better, but there will still be havoks around. If that happens and it severely affects the outcome of the fight in some way (such as throwing a 'bot OotA), the match will be restarted. - I do have patience and will constantly re-record until a match occurs with no havoking. In a worst-case-scenario, the match will still have to feature minimal havoks.
- Game of Robots will have 8 heats, with 8 robots in each heat. - Each round will be a 1v1 single elimination match, so no loser’s Rumbles or double elimination. AKA Series 3/5 Heat format. - The 8 Heat finalist that have failed to reach the Grand Final will be given a chance to get an guaranteed 9th seed for the potential next series.
- Just like the heats 8 Finalist in a 1v1 competition, until we reach the final 2. We will have a 3rd, 5th & 7th place matches alongside the Final Match. So even if you lose the first round, you will still be in matches to hopefully wind up with a good place, and a good seed for a potential second series.

But you just said, that you rarely fight them.... And making robots in such a quick manner, it's impossible to make a good test. So you can improve on the robots.
