I know Gary was using EMG's as always but I have no idea what the amp is unless it's the ENGL Powerball II he used on the follow up.

live shows always dip in quality of the songs all the time, shame i missed buying a ticket for download this year 
Download usually sucks, Bloodstock has a great lineup this year. Dave Mustaine was far better than usual this year; he's a way better guitar player overall than any other member of any band in the Big 4.

I just feel that they've become a money making machine recently and ever since the turn of the century they've been trying to appeal to the mainstream instead of the punk fans. I take your point. Anyway, your allowed not to like metal music, but I wouldn't post about it in a thread about what albums you like, just put it in a thread about genres you dislike. Don't know album... But Enter Sandman and Ride the Lightning by Metalica are awesome.
Also Anthrax are very good. Iron Madien are OK.

Eeeegg I really hate Post-Hardcore and Metalcore personally; while I can listen to stuff like Death metal, thrash and classic metal I've never sort of liked the sort of "emotional" pretensions used by most of the Post-Hardcore troupe.
