If he doesn’t enjoy DSL then there’s no reason to keep badgering him to play it instead. This guy can make good things in stock. Imagine what he can do in DSL. There is so much potential here, and we don't want him to give up on the meta because he found it too hard. Good builders have to be willing to build in all metas, even if they have preferences. 384

I know this has been said 1 million times over again, but an IRL Parsec tournament would be a nice test to see how far we can go with this new technology. I would participate 100%, but with parsec being limited to continents, and differentiating schedules, it would be hard to manage something if this caliber to the same degree these new, huge IRL tournaments have, but hey, I'm down to try it.

Tournament Archives / Re: Shred Bots - Discussion« on: September 22, 2018, 07:05:33 PM »I tries to distinguish it from battlebots with the whole last chance tourney thing. Also if I cant get 55 entries I will make entries 3 per person.See that would be fine and dandy if Battlebots didn't have a Last Chance RUMBLE. I thought this was just a stand in because RA2 doesn't allow more than 4 bots. 390

well i mean ok but i doubt tyou are going to get 55 different entries
also, it feels like you are copying battlebots a tad too much 391

Tournament Archives / Pokemon: The League of Getehem CRITICAL HIT!« on: September 12, 2018, 07:50:37 PM »You all wanted this on Discord, so here you are! RULES: DSL IRL The minimum weight is Middleweight. The maximum is Super Heavyweight. It must be based on a Pokemon. Not loosley, but almost identically mimics it. Other than that, go nuts! Skins, BFE's, OBJRA2, RA2CF, ANYTHING GOES! We want this tourney to be fun, not competitive. That is probably why I'm not going to get to it immediately. (I still have AotA to do.) You can enter up to 6 entries, much like the real Pokemon games. If someone already has built a Pokemon, you can still build said Pokemon if you want. I will not be entering, as I am not nearly as talented as some of you are, MATCHES: 5 minute rounds. Entrants will compete under one trainer (the person who sends them in) who will compete in a single elimination bracket. Two Pokemon will fight. When one faints/loses a judge decision, the next Pokemon goes out to face the winner. When all of the Pokemon on one team have fainted, the winner moves on. A Pokemon wins when it faints the opponent or wins a judge decision, which will be decided by me. Build hard, fight hard, it's Pokemon fighting time! Entrys: 400
