Crap I was drawn against MNB, and DarkAI for my melee... Oh well I wasn't in this one to win any fights, plus there is always the loser's bracket.
But how do you know what you'll be up against? You haven't seen my bot or MNB, so you could be for a chance if you think you may have an advantage over the other.

When Naryar builds IRL

Dirty Dragon. NPC fasts, 798 or so.

I think it's too fast, and it's a bit unstable. Ground clearance may want to be reviewed.

But I like it aesthetically.

That should be for Helloface's IRL HW tournament, by the way.
Not bad, but I recommend that you try and put a little more power in the main weapon by sacrificing some of the armour like if you're using Titanium 5, you could swap it for something light like Plastic 5. Unless you're using those back, bracket wedges for holding batteries or something, resize the chassis if you can unless you do have stuff in those bracket wedges. For the main weapon itself, the chewblades aren't a good choice for a HW since they'll break before you KO someone, try seeing if you can something like a small minion disc if possible for more damage. Still, the design does hold out.

Look Asbesto. Before you decided to upload this SBV thread, you should of made the required stuff first before posting the thread in the first place. It's nice to know about who I'm facing in the rumbles and having an idea about what I can expect them to be, but because there's no splash to refer to, I don't any clue about what weapons my opponent's bots are armed with, their overall design or shape of the bot, or how much of a chance I may have against them with the bot type I do have. Still, there's "some" hope for you to improve this mis-mash of a tornarment in the near future.

Apart from more colours if anyone can think of any. I was thinking about Colour bars, you'll know as the DSL bars. For the main instant of that you're making a Tomb-clone but you wanted to have a nice colour on the bar instead of a dullish grey. I'm aware that this is difficult to do since I've tried skinning a bar myself, but it's a challenge that is worth cracking if you succeed. If that idea fails, how about a few coloured Beater bars for Drums. I've read that you propose coloured Drums, but how about a few colour beater to go along side those drums or if someone wanted coloured teeth as well.

Why can't some people get my Username right?
bruh get a joke for once
Well, this is a running joke you know. I have you know that sometimes I do have a laugh behind the screen of my Laptop and the person who made this mistake can carry on with this if they wish, but I honestly wish that someone can put the correct name down, without descending into a Flame war over me not getting a joke.
actually, to be honest, i don't see or get the joke.
You see Asbesto. When I first join GTM, most users often misread the last letter in my Username as an capital "I", which is meant to be a lower case "l". Due to this error, some users over the forums and the GTM Discord start typing my username as "Dark-AI" instead of "Dark-AL". Which leads to me correcting them, turning this into a unintentional, running joke. It's gets annoying when most people get my name wrong, but it turns out to be a little more funnier after a while and users often correct it or typing my username as "Dark-AL", to avoid me correcting them. Still, what's with the pope part next to my username anyway?

It's weird. I just downloaded the other packs to test if it was my end, they work perfectly.

I have reuploaded the file once more, there are no changes to any of the files, i just remade the .rar and tested it with Winrar's own test option, no errors reported.
Strange. I downloaded mine this morning, extracted the Rar file in 7-zip and everything work out fine. I unsure about what might be the problem down at Pressure end as Mr AS suggested.

75% of the avatars above me make me want to do the die.

But mine has 128-bit power...
Still, it's only a Blue Spiral with a white background. I may say the avatar it's a little bland, But if you like your avatar, just don't let anyone trash talk it and keep using it no matter what I or anyone else may say about it. Besides, Yugi only referring to the avatars that are either God-Awful or what he finds and calls terrible in the first place.

In truth, I do have a love for anyone who makes top-quality posts all the time. It's not just Thrack before you intermediately turn to him himI've never seen him IRL, but he sounds attractive like that Pizzaguy. , but sometimes the people who make me smile with top-quality post after quality post.

Well, this will be interesting to watch. Even if someone like myself just made one entry, I pretty sure that some would say that, at least they made a contribution to this tournament. Before then, I honestly that I wanted to do a massive run down on all the bots here, when I would annoy half the users in a massive run down of personal opinions.

392
Quite alot of empty space even for an IRL bot. Why are you using so many extenders ?
Well, this mostly for the placement of the anti-axe armor plates that you saw on the top of Grimelock. You could say that I should of used multiple anchors for the armor plates, but at the time I had an idea of only building from the two anchor plates at a time for the reason of not wasting time and the hassle in placing multiple anchors around my bot. Yes, you may say I'm a bit of a lazy builder, but I should of realize soon of later with all the weight I was using up.

393
As Promised, a rebuild of my previous bot for GTM Live. Following some feedback. I took the liberty to add a few new additions  to the bot itself include four wheel drive, more battery power and a little more power behind the flipper by using medium burst pistons to the smaller ones seen in the previous model. You may not see them in the first picture, but they should be under the flipper itself. One thing that needs to be noted, The Armour is Plastic 10 and weighs 794kgs all together, and I don't really have a clue to play around with the remaining weight apart from wasting it on an ant battery or something. As always, please do have a say or two.

Nice driving with Dark Al's bot.
(Image removed from quote.)

Peep those numbers. In all honesty, I'm glad the RA2 devs had the foresight to give a sign as to whether robots are AI controlled or not.
First of all, I have a few points that needs to be clear up on Malleus and how it struggled to move before everyone decides on the "Shield is manually driving/rigging" the tournament conclusion that Geice and some other users had being pointing out. During when I was manually controlling Malleus in the test lab. Malleus show signs of having a large turning circle, the result of this was mainly due to the gyroscopic effect of the dual perms for Malleus' weapon. This isn't a problem when the weapon motor is off, but when I hold down the "Spin" button while turning the bot 45 degrees, a similar effect happen in vain to IRL bots similar to Sunshine Lollibot. Due to this, everytime when Malleus turned in large bursts such as turning 90 degrees sharply in any direction, the gyroscopic effect kicked onto one sides of the bot, allowing one of the law enforcement bot to easily get under Malleus and hitting Malleus around. Why Malleus struggled to move forward was heavily due to the position of the front plows and back, extender protection of the bot itself. If you looked carefully while watching the video, the front protection was completely low to the ground due to the Skirt hinge I used to put the extenders for the two front plows and the skirt backs, you did see that Malleus did move, but that only when the wheels were touching the ground and the plows weren't preventing the bot from moving forward from the plows being so low to the ground due to fears of having bots getting under Malleus. This may look like Shield wasn't moving the bot itself, but trust me if honestly wished to download the bot itself and tried to drive it, you'll see that the plows prevent the bot from moving far, unless the weapon motor was on and you have the drive moving forward. The same problem will occur even when you do drive it or AI the bot.
Nice essay

So you got SHIELD to drive your bot because you ****ed up designing it and didn't make it stable enough. Seems totally fair.
In truth no. You see, I never told Shield through a PM that I messed up on the bot design and wanted him to drive it. At the time I thought that this was going to be like numerous other tournaments when the Host was going to AI like every other tournament I enter up to that point, so out of common sense, I expected that Shield would AI the bot instead of him Driving it. Also, I never told Shield about these faults either in hope of keeping the problems to myself to learn from my building mistakes. So, your assumption is nothing more that just a slip up into thinking that Shield was driving the bot, but this was nothing more that just a few build faults that I kept quite.

Made this awhile back. Isn't mad good but not completely terrible. May as well show it.
Pulsar:
(Image removed from quote.)
Not bad. Though I would suggest that you might want to skin the teeth and the outer disks in a gold colour, to give your Pulsar Replica looking more like the original bot as you see IRL. Never or less, a good first attempt at replica building.

Nice Gravity rep! Really good use of the polycarb panels!

I completely stripped my Witch Doctor Rep apart as it didn't look right at all and decided to shape it more like the Season 2 version and this is how it looks currently;

(Image removed from quote.)
- Witch Doctor (Season 2)

Still need to get the skeleton hands on the wedge but I'm definitely happier with it so far!

Looking good. I know you may not be aware of this, you can skin components themselves by editing the Text file, bitmap and GMF file of the part you wanted to skin, like if you wish to add some of Witch doctor's plow art work onto the parts you wish to use like the black armour plates on your replica's plow. This may sound difficult for someone inexperienced in Component skinning and modding, but I happen to have a tutorial by 09 that you can use: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=19913.msg724963#msg724963 .
Just scroll down the page and follow each step of this tutorial one step at a time. Just make sure you find a photo editor like PhotoShop and Notepad++ installed onto your computer. But seriously, do keep up the good work.

Contests / Re: VOTE BOTM JULY 2017
« on: July 04, 2017, 09:31:33 AM »
Congrats to apanx, this month's winner!

The builders were.

1. Neon Calypso
2. Apanx
3. Enigma
4. Kurt

Ok, the Robotnik jokes are dead now, but due to this fitting perfectly to the results of this month's BOTM, this video just had to be posted. But regardless of Apanx determinedly winning this month's BOTM due to making the Nuke cannon from C&C: Generals in OBJRA2 and creating custom parts for it; at least he used OBJRA2 in way that didn't have anything that related to My Little Pony or made a blank chassis that just shot lighting, as if he was to make Twilight Sparkles or some pony with a cannon on it's back if we knew too well. But no, Apanx decided to do something something else which would be for the better, without the use of ponies.

Now, I feel a little sorry for Kurt now. Users like Avalanche really like his bot, mainly due to the reason of being a real bot that never used any custom, cheat parts and built properly built in the Bot lab. But regardless of this bot being well made and had an animated splash, the whole execution was quickly shot down by Apanx when his entry was in the competition. I aware that Kurt did get 9 votes from some, friendly users, but unfortunately the votes were over shadowed by Apanx's 28 votes of a recurring theme of OBJRA2 parts into BOTM. So Congratulations on your determined victory Apanx.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: ITT we discuss why USA > UK
« on: July 04, 2017, 05:43:05 AM »
Now these are some rather good reasons. Its also good that USA has free healthca-oh wait.
it'sjokeplsnokillme
Even more so, our health care system hasn't been doing great recently with all the cuts around Staffs and Hospitals, attempts of privatization of the NHS, the closure of many smaller hospitals like Ashburton Hospital in Devon, and then the NHS complaining about not having enough beds, despite these closures. But having the NHS is better than having no free healthcare like our "American" friends, despite all of the above happing.

This is some top-quality ****posting that I see before me, which calls for another Britbongs vs Amerifats tournament.
As with an extra note. We invented the English language, and without us you Americans would be speaking Spanish. What would you like to prefer?
