You can think it is whoever you want it to be. but you're wrong
It would seem you have 2 choices:
Delete the forum and it never comes up in a meeting
Keep going on with it and hope I don't tell anyone
You may find another option, but as it stands these are the most obvious.
Which one would you like to do? I don't agree with this forum as we were strictly told not to make any mention of what we are doing. I also seem to recall trouble with this stuff last year.
Your choice. You have until Monday. You may even have less time.
this sounds like some navy seals copypasta garbage. are you gonna tell him that you have over 300 confirmed knockouts next?

Hi. Over the past couple of months, I've been juuust busy enough with college that I haven't been able to pump out monthly patches as I initially intended. However, I've gotten some free time recently and have started work on the next version. Various bugfixes and rebalances have either been planned out or have already happened. Example: The discs and plates have had thier lighting and attachment points fixed. If you remember the discs/plates in the alpha and beta of Retooled, they were completely black most of the time, and the larger discs had cruddy APs that were sunk something like halfway into the disc. New UI background that's far less blinding than the one currently in there: I'm not sure if I'll be doing much to the rest of the UI, honestly. I might just scrap everything sans the backgrounds and keep the DSL stuff. Depends if I can get a good feel for how the UI should be without it looking like "Baby's First UI Mod". King of the Hill mode has also been "Retooled". Yep. The close-quarters 4-player smash-em bash-em robo-sumo game mode is back. Remember how the Lumazone has low walls that totally look like you could chuck a robot out for an easy win, only for it to bounce off an invisible wall? Well... I've removed the invisible walls so that OOTAs can actually happen. This is the first stock arena that I've fixed up to be more entertaining. Although not much has been changed model-wise, most of the edits are in the functionality. The Lumazone is one of the few arenas in stock that was fairly balanced to begin with. I do intend on messing with at least a few other stock arenas to make them more tournament-friendly, and hopefully we'll see some stock arenas in tournaments that aren't the usual combat zone/electric arena. I've also went ahead and removed the immobility timer from the arena. In turn, this also disables the in-game clock. So I've had to go ahead and slightly change the overall objective of the mode. Normally in KOTH mode, whenever there's one robot on the hill, they gain 10 points about every quarter of a second, and whoever has the most points at the end of the match wins. In Retooled's KOTH mode, being the only one on the hill will damage other robots. Damage won't be dealt so long as there's 0 or >1 robots on the hill at once. You'll know robots are being damaged from the usual DING DING noises that plays when 1 robot's on the hill. Damaging robots also speeds up the match significantly, since robots spinning around with a single wheel in the corner (there's usually at least 1 in a 4-way KOTH match) that usually steer clear of immobilization will be eliminated by the damage instead. I only just got all the necessary bits of code working to damage robots about an hour or 2 ago, so there's still some room for adjustments before release. The exact amount of damage that's dealt will likely be adjusted, for one. An AW with plastic 1 taking constant damage will go down much, much quicker than a SHW with upwards of steel 5 or titanium 10. I've also thought about giving the center of the arena some healing factor for the robots regardless of how many robots are currently on the hill, but that may just artificially extend matches for no good reason. I want to do something with the center of the arena, and simply rewarding points is out of the question because you literally can't do anything with them, given the frozen timer. BTW the ground hover's removed from the game. For now at least. Any robots made with it will still load, you just can't access it in the botlab. It will very likely be tourney illegal too. A second option for the hovercraft may come back in some other form, but GTMC is pretty clear indication that there's glaring (read: probably near-unfixable due to dumb .exe hardcoded programming) issues specifically targeting ground hovers. Seriously, what kind of wackjob programming bases hovercraft speed with frames per second only when the robot is touching the ground??? At least it's better than some of RA3's various anomalies. TL;DR= -you can OOTA now -no more immobility -do you like hurting other robots? -stuff might change -bye ground hover. don't let the door smack your ass on the way out.

Of course the only way to pull that off would be for someone with admin powers to update that stuff when needed, and Trov wouldn't be around enough for that.
What I would recommend, is upgrading one of your existing moderators to admins. Namely either Craaig or Kill343gs. While they both have thier pros and cons (craig being more consistently active, but doesn't have as much moderation experience, kill being basically the opposite), I feel that either one of them would be the best for the job. Another boon to having these two in particular be admin, is the fact that the Discord chat offers a direct line of real-time contact to them, as opposed to waiting for them to log on to GTM and respond to a PM you send them.

ANCAP bot?
Casters: They are to help stabilize the bot a bit more, if you want, I will change them to those colored Casters.
I'd personally change the front casters to iron spikes, and maybe shorten the extender holding the battleaxe.

Badger.. i dont think that would be good... license issues!!
Easy solution: FAKE BRANDS
Example: DragonSuperCoal Inc Badger's Beavers 09 Ways to Dye Demon Industries Craaig's Crustatians. Mega Tainted Pictures Thacker's Metal Workings etc
Or just use real brands because using them in a mod that you aren't charging for or distributing en masse almost certainly qualifies as free use, and even if it doesn't McDonalds aren't gonna sue someone just for using their logo in a mod for a relatively obscure 15 year old game.
nobody wants Mcdonalds to brand their robot...

Many believe that anime tits are always inferior, for the simple reason that real tits exist. After a heated discussion with some trusted sources, I've decided to carefully analyze why anime tits can be better. I'll agree that real tits are fantastic but there's a problem: natural tits can only grow to be so large. When people think of real women with huge tits, they often think of Hitomi Tanaka, who is so known for her boobs that she is also known as Hitomi J-Cup in some circles. However Hitomi is just one person, and the amount of people in the world with tits as large as her make up a very small percentage of humanity. When you look at anime tits though, I'd estimate that at least a quarter of all anime girls have giant tits. Another thing to consider is fanart. Artists are constantly drawing lewd fanart of anime girls with huge tits, putting nipples where the official artists would cower in fear, going where paid workers wouldn't dare go. Some generous artists share the gift of huge tits to anime girls who normally have small tits, and even on men sometimes if they're into that. But there's no reason to draw real girls with huge anime tits, because they're real, and it's up to them if they want to show their tits, not greedy corporate pigs who don't care about us enough to give the gift of nipples. Because of this, there is a massive outpouring of fanart for anime girls, and by extension anime tits, while there is little to none for real girls. Another problem is that real girls have actual souls and lives, so they have the option to never expose their tits to anyone, therefore robbing humanity of the gift they were born with. With anime tits, if the original source doesn't have a revealing outfit of any kind, any artist could come in and draw the character naked, which means that almost ALL anime tits can be seen in some way. If an anime girl has a significant role in the source or is well-liked in the community, there's a good chance that someone has drawn them with their tits out. I'll admit that, like real life, many anime tits are simply inferior to others. For example, Nintendo is a "Family Company", so they use that bullsh** as an excuse to often draw their characters with either small tits, or outfits that aren't revealing, or in the worse case, both. but as previously mentioned, fanartists have the power to grant these poor, flat-chested, potential waifus the tits they deserve. One artist that you've probably heard of, AkaiRiot, dedicates most of his artistic talent on turning the boring, uninspired Nintendo girls from Smash Bros into beautiful waifus with gigantic tits. Back on the topic of Real Tits VS Anime Tits, let's move onto my chief argument. When you're trying to think of points for each side, you'd probably start with an anime girl and real life girl with approximately the same bust size, and then make your judgement from there. This is completely wrong, however, and when you do this you will see that in this case the answer is ALWAYS real tits. You only see the true beauty of anime tits when you look closer, and look for anime tits that are much larger and much bouncier than real tits could ever be. When you do this, you see that anime tits can go to levels that real tits could never come close to. Anime tits can become impossibly oversized and bounce more than a pack of 6-year-olds in a bouncy castle after drinking 12 party-sized bottles of soda. Since real life tits could never reach these levels of beauty, anime tits are unmatched and are therefore the winners in every comparison. In situations where the tits are the same size and bounciness though, real tits will always win. So in conclusion, all tits are beautiful and should be cherished for what they are. In some scenarios anime tits are superior, but in others real tits win. If you're comparing two busts of equal caliber, real tits will win 90% of the time. But when you go deeper, you'll find anime tits that real tits could never come close to matching, which means that anime tits would win by default. There are also people who believe in solely one type and renounce the other. These people are stupid, and need to either go outside and see how great real tits can be, or stay inside and see how great anime tits can be. Everyone needs to appreciate all tits, no matter what kind, because tits are beautiful and should be appreciated before this generation takes over our culture with asses which, while still fantastic, are not quite as good as tits IMO.

Tashic's robot won't come down due to the fact that ground hovers are just regular hovers, but raised by 25. Basically, if you go above a certain height in the arena (that being 25) while having a ground hover in your robot, you won't come down to ground level at all.
If Thrackerzod wants, I can raise the ground hover by a lot more so that Tashic's robot doesn't do... that and fights like it should have.

>exposed, low length aluminum extenders >"should be effective" Regardless of if it's effective or not, it still looks pretty cool. Only thing I'd change are the wheels so that they either fit inside or stick out a bit further.

Prizes for our eventual winners have been made: Here's a rundown of what the prizes actually are. From left to right: -Smasher: From the compressor arena. Makes for a decent trapping arm on LWs, and a good spinner weapon on MWs. 30 kg, 175 DP and 5350 HP. -Table Claw: From the tabletop arena. Has a higher DP:HP ratio than the smasher or pulverizer. Good for clamps and hammers, possibly usable on a popup as well. 45kg, 395 DP and 4020 HP. -Pulverizer: From the Octogon arena. Makes the satisfying THUD noise you're familiar with when hitting other robots. Useful for MW or HW vertical spinners. 60kg, 220 DP and 10700 HP. -Nuke Wheel: A high grip, high damage wheel with very low HP. Think like a DSL Techno Wheel with even higher grip at the cost of having the Ant Wheel's HP, and also it has the WBC Wheel's additional damage. 24kg, 1.54 grip, 100 HP, and 500 DP*. -Energy Blade: Another high damage, low HP weapon. The disc actually acts like an axle mounted disc*, not unlike the flail rams that were popular a few years back. No piercing damage to worry about, however. 75kg, 835 DP and 3750 HP. -BFS: Also known as the "Big Frickin Sword". Unlike your typical sword component that you'd see in DSL, Ironforge, RWRA2, etc, this sword shoots energy projectiles as well as having contact damage. 100 kg, 13350 HP and 255 DP. Uses 10 gas per shot. None of these have normals to worry about, BTW. Not even possible to put normals on the last three. (Statistics are for thier Retooled versions. Damage, HP and input values may vary from mod to mod.) *subject to change. also, practical damage for wheels seems to be lower than you'd think. Remember, even if you lost your first match, you still have a chance to progress through the loser's bracket to win. Prizes: 1st place (he will have two picks), 2nd place and the rumble winners will have their choice of [the prizes listed]. The winner shall receive a gold ribbon that they can wear next to their name to commemorate their victory! Top 4 will receive the AI pack used to host the tournament with, too.
Just for laughs, here's a bit of the "concept art" that I sent yugitom for the prizes. And also the arena. The current version of the arena looks a lot different than the one I planned to use.Despite the recent semi-hiatuses Yugitom has taken, the tourney is nearly 20% complete. Round 1 winners and losers brackets are the largest part of any standard double elimination tournament such as BBEANS or this one. Also take into consideration GTMC is essentially three BBEANS in one tournament. BBEANS 4 took 2 months, BBEANS 5 took 4 months, and BBEANS 6 also took about 4 months. This would mean that if this were going at the pace of the last 3 BBEANS tournaments, GTMC would take about 10 months on average, but considering that about 15-20% of the tournament was done within a month, uploads can easily pick up the pace in a week or two and still be fine. I've also gotten word from Thrackerzod that he may start uploads if Yugi doesn't in the upcoming weeks, who knows. Stay tuned! In the unlikely event that GTMC does gets cancelled, the prize components will just be in retooled instead, no skin off my back.

the ****ing GTM Championship
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as "the ****ing GTM Championship", is in fact, Gametechmods Championship Series, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GTMCS. The current GTM Championship is not an series unto itself, but rather a single component of a tournament series made useful by the host, backup hosts and prize creator components comprising a tournament as defined by the BBEANS standard ruleset. Many tournies run a modified version of the BBEANS standard ruleset every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of BBEANS which is widely used today is often called “DSL-S”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the BBEANS ruleset, organized by Clickbeetle. There really is the standard BBEANS rules, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. DSL-S is the common term: the ruleset in the series that sets the standard in the machine’s component setup. The ruleset is an essential part of a tournament, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of builder entries. DSL-S is normally used in combination with prizes and backup hosts: the whole system is basically BBEANS rules, or BBEANS standard ruleset. All the so-called “DSL-S” distributions are really versions of standard BBEANS rules.

We can remove these stickies. "hay guise I casually removed most of the problems that have be plaguing RA2 for upwards of a decade" seems way more important than a download for a deprecated beta or a thread that redirects to a nonexistant forum section IMO.

The 2 HWs on the left are alternate setups for my other servo bot. Insides are the same except they use a 4mag. Burst motor version has less armor and the non-burst motor version has more armor. 2 MWs on the right are thier own thing. MW insides: Disc is BFE'd so the weapon doesn't just hang off the top. Flamethrower HW that I can't use: It looks cool though, so I'm sending it anyway.

Some LWs: Left to right- -Prism: Small HS, similar to Hypnodisc. Except it's invertible. Hexplate+3 Ripping Teeth almost makes it look like it has a disc made out of ripping teeth. -Underscore: Undercutting HS. Pretty much Final Z but IRL. There's a 12cm round alu extender under the MechDisc to keep it off the ground. Has reskinned indigo Taz Wheels that will be included in LDAI. -Formula Ω (named Formula X in-game since RA2 doesn't recognize "Ω". Also, Ω and X are the 24th letters of thier respective alphabets): Part of a team where I rebuild old robots. Mixture of these three LWs/"Featherweights": [1] [2] [3]
