DSL TC Showcases / Re: Mazakari's Showcase (A bit of everything)

Yeah, as far as I'm aware, it works as VB explained.

Just for purposes of on-topic, I like the skin on that last bot, I do hope the front forks lift on it as well as the top :)

It may be an idea, for looks, to turn those casters 90 degrees, as I imagine in real life the benefits from having a caster like that sideways for spinning would outweigh the negative of the increased resistance when moving forward. But that's purely superficial :) Looks pretty awesome otherwise, just something that bugged me.

General Support / Re: Some bots are missing from team folders
« on: August 25, 2013, 05:49:15 AM »
Are you 100% sure you're looking at the right folder? Opening the bot files up in notepad to see if they correspond to the last 3 bots in what you believe to be Team 2 ingame could help.

Tournament Archives / Re: Robot Wars 2005 - Signups
« on: August 22, 2013, 05:49:10 AM »
Well no. For one, the tournament had spaces, and all the spaces were filled, then the signups closed. Secondly, if people kept sending updates while I've been sporadically working on AI and splashes, the entire process would take twice as long, because I'd have to re-do stuff. :)

As I've always said, you should never really criticize a tournament host unless you have experience in running them.

Just as an update to the above, yes, apologies for the busyness, the Skype guys know I haven't even been on there much in the last month or 2. I'm doing work on this whenever I have some free time, it is not forgotten, and will hopefully fully kick off in the first week or so of September.

Until then, thank you for your patience, and I hope it ends up worth the wait :)

Gratz to all involved, well deserved. Totally agree with Kill's post too, 09 does a lot here, it's important stuff that unfortunately doesn't get noticed like mods/tournaments/etc.

A fair few could be moved to inactive, and some of the less notable inactive members from a while back could be removed I guess.

HW: Crasp Drone 2 looks tiny. Don't know if that's an optical illusion but if I'm fighting an MW sized heavyweight, there's no contest. My front spike strips are designed to specifically get under scoops and panel wedges, so if I flip him, I'll have my way with him.

Heeheehee.

Yeah it's tiny. There's a lot packed in there.

We might have something decent for this thread come Tuesday, what with the MAGICAL GTM MEETUP IN SOME RANDOM PLACE IN WALES WHERE THERE WILL ONLY ACTUALLY BE 4 OF US.

I'm British you fool, so I'm obviously far too upper-class for the slang word 'erryday'. Also, 'weed' is not my thing, but that's not the point.
