T.A.N. also won without the pit, but lastly; what makes flipping bots out of the arena less cheap than pitting them. It was becoming a trend and to be honest I found TAN's matches better and much less like the rest of the series, which consisted of bots like Judge Shred 3 and M2 just OOTA'ing things.

Meh, Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3/Trilogy were quite good, even if the latter mostly relied on coming with one of the worlds all time best FPS/Adventurer games.

Lol, TAN also could do some damage (left some nice impressions on Robochicken, damaging its side panels). In many ways, it was better than Panick Attack in that it could actually perform effectively in later series. Even if there weren't any hazards, TAN is a faster bot with invertability and much stronger armor. If you then take into account its above average pushing power, and it could have easily used a shoving tactic similar to Storm 2's.

TAN was a great bot.
TBH, I only have a slight grudge because it beat Robochicken, one of my favorites for Series 7. It's also incredibly ironic that GF is so bothered by it beating Panic Attack, which used almost exactly the same tactic in most of its victories; grab opponent (by lifting it, in PA's case), and then push it into or towards the pit. It's won, oh, how many battles by pushing things into the pit?

Tough As Nails should've gone against Typhoon 2, then we would've seen how tough it really was
TAN is extremely durable, so I imagine it could easily beat Typhoon 2. Or at least I'd like it to.

I've often considered what guitars would sound like if artificial compounds were used instead of wood.
Hagstrom guitars use composite fingerboards, and I think Zon bass guitars use composite necks. I'm sure there are others. I think it has decent enough mid, though I never downtune more that D standard on my Ibanez.
Well, I play a variety of stuff in terms of tunings. I could go as low as G and I wouldn't care because I can simply use a different top nut if I have to change to too large a string gauge for the nut.
