And to avoid further derailment of the thread, may I suggest we leave it there and if you want to debate it with Helloface, RPJK, go ahead in a PM or such,

IRL doesn't mean you have to use those batteries...
1 ant battery has enough power to run 1 spin motor for a match, so that spinner needs only 3 ants, which frees up a lot of weight for you :)
(Bursts however still need to be fully powered to the level in their description)

Just wondering, how do you upload images in messages?

Look through this. Should answer your questions.

Thinking of entering but do I have to have the Union Jack on my bot considering I'm Northern Irish? Think carefully how you answer this one Helloface.

I'm not Helloface but from a logical perspective, yes: It says in the rules, even us English have to add the Union Flag as well as St George's Cross, so you would have to have the Union Flag and St Patrick's Saltire, I would guess. Just hide the UF under a panel or underneath if it bothers you that much?

Finally vaguely happy with this one

The skirt hinge isn't the best solution but I am terrible at making supports, let alone symmetric ones.

If you want a version with AI that works (and is completely overhauled) but still has a whole bunch of parts like DSL3, try DSL2.1 - the version most people still tend to use.

Great.  Are you one of the privileged tourney hosts who gets to skip some of the bureaucracy?

He is not, however there's hardly bureaucracy these days. All that is necessary is half the signup list (in this case, 12) absolute positive 'Yes' votes in the poll :)

I'm sure you could probably bring the disc down a bit further to hit lower opponents; it'd also be less unstable.
Also, you still have a lot of weight to do something else with, and some weight could actually be taken off if you remove those extenders that are inside the chassis. One idea that I've always liked trying is adding another motor and disc for added fun. Otherwise, you have lots of weight to add cool decoration, like spikes. Everywhere. :P

Looks cool as it is, just some advice :D

Do the replicas have to be from your home country?  Can I enter a replica but not a serious robot?
Ah, thanks for spotting a loophole. No the replica does not have to be from your home country, and yes you can build a replica but not a main entry.

Since I'm crap at building robots in Dsl 2.1, I'm gonna build something like nemisis from robot wars xD

Start up a showcase, then people can help you improve :)

Also Helloface, remember we use the polls now rather than greenticks generally

All tournaments have to be filmed for the entrants, don't worry about that :)

I'm not sure it should be called the World Championships but yeah. World Championships to me would encompass all types of building and have unlimited entries.

Go to your room, listen to a metal band of your choosing, and cry.

you are literally my least favourite person. i mean you don't affect me. your presence is just unneeded. thought you should know.

You could try watching this video.

Better than that. Have a pet! They do marvels for people with depression. If you already have one, have more! Or interact more with your current one.

Also this. I am sadder when I do not have a cat.

Maybe try using Omni instead and renaming the Flip to Fire and the smartzone to weapon.

Did you name the smartzone correctly?
