One quick thing, don't use piglets for drive, they're not intended for that (unless DSL3 changed that, which I don't think it did).

I'm unaware of whether this is meant to be IRL or Standard, but if it's IRL you need some disc supports. If it's not, it's alright, but those wedges aren't great - consider getting rid of the casters and using a metal hinge wedge or something.

Firstly you probably clicked 'modify' on my post rather than 'quote'. Secondly, try not to triple post in the space of 20 minutes... all that could've been in 1 post if you just modified your own post :P
Editing is king :3

'Hidden' components are shown in game by naming your robot 'cheatbot2'. That's it. They're illegal in nearly all building, unless a specific tournament rule allows some specific ones - The Judge Burst is often allowed in IRL tournaments to make Flippers competitive. But yeah, as the classic rule states, don't mix Stock and DSL ;p

Z-Tek's aren't legal components in ANY version of DSL (for tournament building), you must've used cheatbot2 or messed up your copy of DSL to even get them.
You could probably keep the wheels inside by using right/left NPCs (eg an arrangement like this.)

It's ok guys,and thank you both, but he's kinda got a point anyway. And i'm glad(?) to make your aquantance, Avalanche, even if the circumstances aren't the most favorable.
Also, I care about stock AI, the wiki already has pages on them, why not improve them?
I would do it myself, but I dont have a wiki account.

Honestly while you're on the Wiki, take a look at his page, and then proceed to not listen...
Just register for a Wiki account by PMing Nary or Scrap Daddy (I think) asking for one then you can do it, which I'm sure would be greatly appreciated by many in your situation.

Stock – Middleweight Standard

The idea: Each bot will be placed up against a stock heavyweight bot, and must aim to stay alive for the longest time possible, or beat the opposing robot; winners will go onto the next round, based on the time survived. When the next round commences the difficulty level will increase, and 3 bots will be eliminated. When 12 bots get eliminated, they will face each other head to head, and the two winners will fight to determine a winner.

Rules:
- Stock Middleweight;
- The arena will be the BBEANS Tournament Arena 2 with hazards on;
 - No AAM, Thyrus Glitch, Zero G, BFE, Hax Mode, Text Editing, or any other out-of-game modification;
- Matches will be restarted due to havoks infinitely with no penalty;*
- [*edit] against the heavyweights, matches will be restarted up to 5 times, head to head however will only be 3 times!
- 1 entry per builder, there should be a total of 16 entrances;
- AI parts allowed (including the 140cm extender);
- You may AI your own bots, but if unable I will AI them;
- Multibots are allowed, but they must total up to 399kg or less;
- You may update your entry unlimited times until the deadline;
- This will be recorded in 1080p with some effects and replays.
- I will be entering using this -

Good luck!

-What's with the multi-extenders on Scales?
invincible armour

Well that's... irl?

-Lack of support on Kespar. I would debate whether belt supports on door hinges are anywhere near IRL if that's what those are there for
They don't move about so it don't see too much of a problem.

It's less that and more in real life (irl) the hinge would bend and not hold the support there.

-No support on Drummykins = no.

So, um, it appears that approving tourneys uses a new method. Can anyone shed some light?

Pretty much once you're set with rules etc you run a poll asking "Will you enter?". When the poll has half as many "yes" votes as your maximum amount of signups, your tourney is good to go for signups.

WHat about tourneys with unlimited entries?

These can only be run by Major League hosts, who don't have to run any interest polls.
It's all pretty clear in the Tournament Management and How To Run A Tournament threads.

Since I've been feeling quite useless lately, I'm going to give this another shot. This theme will be like the Robot Wars International series, but with modified brackets and rules. In this tournament, you must represent your own country and put its flag on your robot (there are a few flag packs in the downloads area). The signups will be split into three divisions: USA, Britain, and Other. Each signups category will have a maximum of 8 spots. If you're British, you must have both the Union Jack and the specific country (i.e. Ireland, England, Scotland) flag. You may enter a replica as your main robot.

After the three-week signup period has ended, there will be another one-week signup period specifically for replicas. If you have already entered, you're still eligible to enter a replica. I will allow an unlimited amount of replicas, from which I will pick the most well done replicas. You are allowed to enter as many replicas as you would like, so long as they correspond to the correct signups category.

- This tournament will be in DSL 2.1
- I will be AIing, but I have the right to ask you do do it yourself
- BFE and re-skinning are allowed.
- Nobody can be entered until a bot is received and accepted
- The weight class will be either Heavyweight
- Now that I better understand the IRL building style, it will be much more strongly enforced than before/
- The only glitch allowed is the small chassis glitch.
- Arena hazards will be on
- Bots must pass stability tests. I will never decline a robot due to this without notifying you of the problem to ensure it will be fair; however if anyone complains that a bot shouldn't have gotten past it, they are at risk for a disqualification.
- Walkers and Shufflers will gain a 400kg weight bonus, but at least 300kg must be used on the movement system.
- Matches are 4 minutes long, aside from the Grand Final which will be 2 minutes long
- No custom components
- 1st havok, restart; 2nd havok, your bot is eliminated
- No custom armour
- No Trov Glitching, Hax Mode, or any other unrealistic glitches that enable an advantage.
- Multibots are allowed.
- No titanium sheets attached directly to baseplate (Including half-sheets)
- If a bot is out of control for 30 seconds it is eliminated (if a bot is just randomly bouncing around the arena, in counts as being out of control).
- You have an unlimited amount of upgrades. This means you can send a new robot too, however this all has to happen before signups are closed.
- M.O.E Motor & Judge Bursts are allowed
- Emergency flippers will have a 50% HP boost
- Interchangeable weaponry allowed
-

Format
Each category (USA, Britain, Other) Will have 2 four-way melees. The winners of these fights will be guaranteed a spot in the quarter-finals.

After this, there will be a 3 day vote on which two losers will also be pushed through to the quarter-finals. Incase of three or four way tie, there will be another melee in which the top 2 performing bots will be pushed through. In case of 5 or more way tie, the poll will be reset.

From there it will be a standard single elimination bracket.

Arenas
British Qualifying Arena: Wham's RW Arena
American Qualifying Arena: Battlebox 3.0
Other Qualifying Arena: Combat Arena (heavily increased hazard damage)
Post-Qualifying Arena: BBEANS 2 Arena (no hazards)

Judging
British Qualifying Judging: Damage /20, Aggression /15, Control /10, Style /5
American Qualifying Judging: Damage /15, Aggression /15, Strategy /15, Style /5
Other Qualifying Judging: Weapon Damage /20, Hazard Damage /20, Control /10
Post-Qualifying Judging: Damage /10, Aggression /10, Control /10, Strategy /10, Style /10

Questions, thoughts, and suggestions?

This thread is now a signups topic and the rules above may not change. Good luck!
