madman, what do you have against a7x?
Don't like the new emo image they've taken, don't like the cheesy choruses, don't like the riffs as they are too similar to Metallica's for me. That simple.
Don't mind the casual fans but the people who go giving them "OMG 5/5 BEST ALBUM EVER" get annoying. So I've got more against the fanboys than the band.
Maybe, but a7x has a better drummer and singer than metallica, making the cool guitar riffs sounds more balanced and better.
I personally prefer james, but I agree that Portnoy destroys Lars. But I disagree, I don't like the riffs they use. Too cheesy when they're not using the same riffs as Metallica, and when they are, they don't sound as tight; I found the Seymour Duncan Invaders used in the guitars to be far too muddy.

Evile have a new release! I never knew, to busy listening to new anthrax and DT i guess.
Yeah, it's the unrealistic one. (Due to loopholes you can use 2kg hypno teeth and flatmotors) Yeah, new Anthrax is good, new DT is meh as Mangini does an average job. New Evile is very good, new Warbringer is godlike, new Vader kills. Good year for thrash.
