While I agree with most of the points Nary has made, I disagree with the off-topic in main forum rule for the same reasons as ROBO. Spam actually causes genuine harm to a thread. A large amount of off topic may, but unless there is some potential hint of drama or a possible cause, I cannot begin to understand why on earth it is worthy of a warning; reminders as provided before were working fine, and if something truly dramatic happens, then it is worthy of a warning.
Off topic does not necessarily deteriorate a topic, it merely changes its basic subject temporarily; spam actually harms the thread by creating drama or being distracting. They are definitely not the same.

Well, it's been sent now. Not much we can do now, other than sit back and see what happens.
Form the Duma :P But seriously, some forms of debate as to the rules of the forum needs to be added, not just Nary instantly declaring that he's empowering them. It's the sort of thing that would prevent problems like this, with Nary running loose and the GTM Constitution.

Hmm. I'm fairly confident that a heavily armed spinner like Ion can take out the VS. Really, my bot is a sawbot, though it may be wide enough to survive the attack of it.
Really, my bot would be better in an un-enclosed arena, as it OOTA's very well.

In addition, I believe that there are unnecessary changes to the old system that were too strict. The strict warning system now in practice serves a strong deterring role but applying warnings for even slightly off topic posts is close to pointless and provides the threads with already decreasing humour with a really laugh killer. Warnings should be applied for strong flaming, wherever it is, swearing, and spam that is either offensive, or extremely over the top, such as image spam. If Nary is to be a global mod, he should abide his own rules, and relax the ones which are more or less unnecessary with a strengthened Mod force at hand as it is. In addition, he should not strip thread rights from people simply because he disagrees with them or if they are under warning, at least in playground. Heil Naryar!
Go back to being his rival or something.

My bot has nasty AGOD, but it's wedges aren't too bad. We're doomed either way, whoever wins this match, with either a killer VS or a Killer SnsnS to fight afterwards.

If we actually put together a decent case against him, with evidence to go with it, then something productive might happen. If we keep going off topic here, though, then I imagine it would get overlooked.
Okay. Lets organize a proposal and explain alternative policies and techniques which would better suit the situation.

Actually, I can see some real, and I mean, real problems with his policies.
First, the new strictness of the rules was not necessary. A new global mod to relieve Kill from having to do most of the work is fine, and would help, but really, with most of the n00bs banned there was not a lot of point to several of the rules he put in place. Add to that his spamming of that dumb "Eyebrows" thing it's actually pretty bad.
I have nothing against Nary, but he needs to get a hold of himself.

But yes, the pony thread was deleted for no reason. He has been abusing his powers since day one, he has been acting like such a hypocrit to the rest of the boards. Either he stops unnecessarily taking control of what other members do, or he gets stripped of his Global Moderator position. That's my proposal.
This not entirely what I think, although it is close enough. I'm frankly sick of it already, and all this ego promoting and more or less pointless constitution just boils down to idiocy. It wasn't nessescary before; one more moderator was fine and keeps a lot of work off of Kill, but all this new strict ruling is completely unnecessary.

Somehow I preferred Inf to how Nary is now. Inf may have been harsh, but he at least contributed by posting new bots fairly often in his re-appearance. Nary, however, seems so obsessed with his mod powers that he seems to have forgotten the very principles he set in place, as well as his previous reputation. Add to that the new bureaucracy with the rules, and it's getting way too hot in here. If you're reading this, Nary, take note. New Megadeth record sucks. Generally it's teh bores, which should mean that Skiit will love it 
Sucks is harsh, but it is extremely conservative after Endgame, which is very surprising to me.

It's likely due to the fact that they got rid of Andy Sneap for production, replacing him with Johnny K (produced Disturbed's albums). It really shows, as Johnny is a very commercial producer. Never Dead and Deadly Nightshade are still awesome though.

In what way? They hardly sacrifice much mobility but gain extra weapons/armour
I can see plenty of spinup time problems with more weapons which only add to the chances of them being beaten by rammers. Add to that a relative lack of controlled movement (although this is still a dubious subject due to Ai's and the realism of them and the suchlike) and they're just not that much better.
More Armour is fair, but won't provide a considerable advantage.
Compare the movement of bots in my DoD matches. Dark Void 2 often moves faster that its 2WD counterparts.
Anyway, back with the bot, can't you get DSA on that?
Oh, I remember that. I see your point about mobility, however spinup time is still a problem; adding more armour seems like a more obvious advantage than lots of weapons on one HP Z-tek.

Ok posting to ask a question. What is a good shape for a rammer without having to snapperload?
Depends on weight class. a wide U is good on HW and MW, while a small T shape fitting two HP Zteks, a nifty, and a baseplate anchor is good on a LW.
