I now know the basic concept of the rules
can we add batteries?
Did you actually read the rules? Also, please don't double post.

BFE is generally allowed for IRL tournaments so bots can be made IRL easier. It's usually the norm to not allow BFE in tournaments. Partially because I have no idea what BFE does.
BFE is bot file editing. It allows one to move parts around via editing the bot file, as opposed to doing the edit in the bot lab. It's never really used for standard building in a legal way because there's no stacking in standard tournaments.

Okay, can we just all shut the hell up before this flame war goes out of bleedin' control and someone gets banned? Baconus' entry was not a good joke entrant, we get it, you don't need to relentlessly go at each-others throats as this is getting ridiculous. Avalanche, I get that you want to give Baconus_Yum criticism, I understand that, but being a total prick about it is not the way to go about it. Now can we all stop measuring eachother's d*cks before someone is banned?
+1 If anyone continues this off-topic discussion any more, they'll get a warning. I'm tempted to just apply a warning to Ava, anyway, as he went OTT for no good reason, but I'll give everyone a verbal warning first.

So, last year I ran a little tournament called Death-Defying Decemberween Demolition Derby. It was a Stock LW tournament with no gimmicks. I don't really want to do the same thing twice in a row, so I was thinking maybe this time around could be Retooled LW (since the official tournament takes care of IF LW). Would anyone join that?
RULES: Retooled LW Standard building, cheatbot2 mode off Combat Arena - no hazards 3 minute matches Best of 1, double elimination Unlimited entrants I can do AI lines, or you can send your own Also, I will be releasing the tournament AI after the tournament, so there are more Retooled bots available
BUILDING STUFF: No BFE or any of that kinda mess Rule of 7 break is allowed, other SergePatcher features are not No custom components (includes reskinned components) Bots must show controlled movement. SnSs are banned Bots must have at least 2 powered wheels I can reject any bot that I feel does not adhere to these rules
My hastily thrown together entry is Power Station Steve: (Image removed from quote.) (will skin later)
Signups end at the start of December 1th.
This is now a signups topic and the rules quoted may not change. Have fun, you've got 9 months.

Reier vs Badnik is up! But in all seriousness just a tweak to one of the smartzone placements and an extra bit in the binding line should make it just a little more competent for the remainder of the tournament
That's fine if you want to do that. You have until I come all the way back round to do doing Stock again for the loser's bracket :P

Wonder if the democrats are gonna push for a fairer voting system now that the current system is working against them. The 2 party system needs to be dismantled for candidates that actually care about the people to come through.
The Republicans would never allow it to change, considering the current Republican president won because of the electoral college. Any future government may rely on the electoral college getting them in, too, so I doubt a Democrat would put it on their manifesto.

16. | Kurtsokei's Flotilla | LW | MW | CW | HW | Kurt and Kossokei | aaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy progress I can finally add this team to the roster because SOMEONE only just got around to sending me his half of the team.
Anyway, that's signups full now, guys. Expect the SBV thread to come up in quite a while from now.
I'm afraid that, as the tournament host, you needed to display all of your bots before anyone else could enter. Entering new bots after the fact is not allowed, I'm afraid.
