Aaaaand with that, here's the finished product.

It took me SEVERAL hours to do the skin. The top and bottom plates were diagonal, which made things tricky. (You could see in my previous pic.)

Practically my first attempt at making a replica, doesn't look great but hey you gotta atleast start somewhere
Nice! Looks good to me.

Here's a WIP shot of my paintjob for a stock replica of Razorback.

(Yes, I use MSPaint, don't judge me. It works just fine.)

Oh PHUCK yes!

I always liked Shaft, that crazy aggressive bastard. Looked like trash, but fought hard.

Petunia is sweet man, IIRC Doot has an End Game replica
Thanks, and yeah, I do recall someone making an End Game replica that was pretty good, except the disc wasn't too accurate. Then again, it's be hard to replicate that disc without using custom parts, AND make it effective in combat.

Cool! Are you gonna make something for the GTM Battlebots Tournament?

Aaay, stock replicas are still a thing! Nice job!

Here's my 2nd entry into GTM Battlebots, Petunia:

Yup, it's another crusher. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who would enter 2 crushers into the tournament. I'd make End Game, but I'm pretty sure other people will enter with their own versions, and I like to make unique replicas for the tournament, ones nobody else would do.

Mega Tento

Couldn't resist going for Tento in the GTMBB, not my best build (especially the skinning) but it's under 800kg and that's all that matters!

How? HOW?! Does the shell even lift? How did you do that?!

Regardless, I'm happy that Mega Tento will be in GTMBB. Good job.

Meanwhile I just have my boxy Gamma 9 replica.

I'm gonna see if I can make Petunia.

Here's BARbarian. I don't have a bio for this bot yet, I'll add it later.

EDIT: Maybe I should keep it that way. Make this bot a bit mysterious...

...ok, there's just nothing special about this bot. Other than the fact it's a wannabe-Nightmare.

I started making a few replicas and even though they're not that impressive compared to what we see here usually I decided to share them anyway.

Wow, nice job! You can even modify that to just have DSL components and share it on the BotExchange.

Here's a replica for the Robot "Eco Warrior" which failed to qualify for Series 4 of Robot Wars which has been made in the Resetti AI Mod. Due to its simple shape and physiology it was incredibly easy to sort out in a short time.

Cool! Although, there's a few problems:

There was a useless blade on the back of the bot, the weapon was mounted closer to the front, and further down, and the front of the robot had no gaping rectangular hole in the front.

Still, it's nice seeing new replica builders around. Keep it up!

For a house robot I'd suggest more chunky hammers maybe using 30kg sledges with 2 lightning spikes either side to form an 8 point star and then add counterweights at the bottom, maybe those could be sledges themselves to fit the look and with a thicker arm width.
Hmm...30 kg hammers aren't sleek enough. How about double-ended Judge Gavels? The pick-axe arms are pretty skinny compared to the rest of the robot, but using sledge-hammers are too bulky IMO.

Also, the more weight the hammers have, the more top-heavy the robot gets. Even now it's a bit of a problem, especially with the gyroscopic tendencies of the sawblade and bludgeoner.

Also, what do you mean by an 8 point star?

This bot is awesome, I do love a good 4 bar
Thanks! I honestly didn't put much effort into her, so it's rather surprising for me to be getting praised for her.

Anyway, here's our first house robot. I'll be showing 1 Bot Wars house robot for every 4 competitors I showcase. And there's 5 planned house robots.

Here's the first one, Cavern Crusher, along with his bio:

CavernCrusher2.png

screenshot_1.bmp

"First up for the house robots, we have Cavern Crusher. He's an experimental piece of mining equipment gone mad! Weighing in at over 3 times as much as a competitor robot at 358 kilos, or 789 pounds, he's got a plethora of weapons, including dual pickaxes and a massive rear vertical saw. His main weapon however, is the massive bludgeoning drill at the front, weighing in at a hefty 62 kilos, or 137 pounds! His only real weakness is his tendency to topple over. Just don't tell him I said that!"

In the game, he weighs 2862.8 kg, his bludgeoner weighing 496 kgs.

What do you think of Bot Wars' first house robot? I'm thinking of putting him on the BotExchange.

I like how you still use chassis rather than full on extender bots
Thanks, and yeah.  It's for two reasons.  One; I get a little more creative with bots that are made with a chassis with skinning and overall structure.  Two; Full extenderbots just make my game sad.  Like it really doesn't want to work after three parts fly off of them.

Also, here's two more things:

(Image removed from quote.)

Update to WildCard as Orc was having issues with the fork version, and it's now a full on rammer.  Probably too late to send this version, but can't say I didn't try to make a fix.

(Image removed from quote.)

Wanted to make a CW version of Radar, and kinda turned out with this.  Wasn't sure what to call it, but it does pack quite a punch, so I guess the name is somewhat appropriate.
Wild Card looks like a fun robot. Good job!
