Thank Google for the account combining now..


I had to delete my google account tied to a phone and now everything goes down with it, your Youtube, your google plus that you never signed up for but they gave you, etc


Didnt realize it'll do that at the time since that account was made before the google account combining but yeah.. fortunately all videos are in my archives so I can reupload sometime..

It's a 2 second change in the python but all it does is make it show up in the rumble game mode... you need to gif edit in 2 new start points for bots 3 and 4..

If it works then it's ok.. the only thing is the arena is loading, activating and checking hazards that basically just have no smartzone anymore .. just for load/ lag reduction sake you have you have wasted coding.

Nice work, But what you have done is known as "destructive editing" :P The number change set the hazard zones to use a zone thats non existent within the arena.



You started off right..


The part you blocked out was the part that ID'd the hazards and the hazard trigger zones... problem is if you look further down, the python actives said hazards and also event triggers them


so basically the arena was trying to run and trigger hazards that no longer exist..


self.Hell1 and self.Hell2 entries needed to be # tagged in the def Tick section (this section basically constantly c what the robots are doing during the match) and the def ZoneEvent (which the name is self explanatory what this does)

for future reference, take note, self.AddHazard(self.name) the name in brackets is the reference for each part of the python, so you can ID what parts and interacting with what

I dont have my windows handy but if you open up the battle bots arena python (.py file) in notepad and find the section that activates the raiser hazards (python is pretty english based)


then put "#" (no quotations) at the start of the line. Dont delete anything!


# tag means the game will ignore that line, so if you mess up you havent deleted anything important.

Id like to think large amounts in each except the .exe.. only just messed a tiny bit here and there myself and with Serge in the past

Really .exe stuff is the only part I havent touched heavily.. then again I have forgotten so much though lack of constantly doing it 


-What do you like modding in?
As in programs? photoshop, fireworks, abc, python, notepad++, notepad, 3DSM..


-What mod types are you most interested in getting? (one of the categories in the poll)
.exe, wanna see some boundaries pushed


-What is your favorite mod? (more specific than just DSL unless talking about the GIB work)
Mine.. No Im not up myself.. but I love seeing my own work come to life after starting at a wall of text in notepad
Specifically Some of the Stuff Gazea has helped me put together in recent times is really awesome.. I just wish I havent been letting him down with my lack of time.. guys got some awesome hidden talent

Nothing, no interest what-so-ever in playing RA2 anymore.


I dont mind the occasional modding but really its on the graphics side of things now because it means I get to use photoshop.


SNE was a hope to kickstart things again but as soon as problems start arising im loosing interest fast.

or download an aftermarket browser like Dolphin or Firefox (depending on your Phones OS)

According to my count, though, JoeBlo has 11 BOTM wins, Clickbeetle has 10, and I have 9. I wonder how he will take this news, he never seems to be particularly happy when I win. =P

Me? nah.. I had my years of dominance,

First 3 in a row,  First to 10 wins and if you include the Official Bot Skinning and Design tournaments we had a while back my record actually stands at 13 (which was also 2 wins from 2 tries)

So I have my seat in the hall of fame wrapped up :P .. So its about someone elses turn now.
