err...ooook because I didnt build a mod based around the colour orange or anything? you know maybe you heard of it.. a little mod called Backlash? oh was it blue you were talking about? no it couldnt be that.. I made a tournamet and a mod for that colour too. what on earth could Nary be on about?

you should work on the body skin a bit more to match it closer if I had 3DSM5 running I would edit the Redbird GMF model to look more like the real one for you :P

you didnt use Serges compiler.. that would be why you lost your transparency you need to either manually put in those values or decompile a fresh one and copy/ paste unless you like the flat colours

those first 2 images are crash preventions
the arena one is the default image that will show if no arenas are loaded into the game (in other words, delete the contents of your arena folder and it will show) notice it has Saws in that picture too..
the no robot preview is used for those that dont have preview pictures taken and loaded into exhibition if I am not mistaken
finally that component was most likely one that was never exported from 3DSM (since is a 3DSM screenshot)

9x out of 10 its someone who downloaded FB's cheat parts or put Starcore AI into DSL :P
but who knows for sure.. given the lack of knowledge I would say its cheat parts, nooby driving or making up tales

driving skills showed though in RW more due to things like the pit, OOTA and house robots.
where as BB they had hazards but really the only way out for you opponent was in multiple pieces.. there was no easy victory route, destroy or be destroyed, sometimes hazards changed match outcomes but really a robot had to deal the damage.

Serge has a tutorial somewhere for it somewhere.. though I dont know how compatible it is with RA2 in the end.. it was always said 3DSM 4 or 5 was required running on something like an SP1 XP (to have all the features work)
3DSM stuff isnt as easy as you would think.. there is a lot of manual writing stuff you need to do that it is recommended you have done notepad editing prior so you know what it is you are doing.
I have often thought about if Backlash would not just be a waste since I feel like more and more people are learning to mod things anyway. Nearly every second person on here can now do basic AI... when I was new hardly anyone could do so... I had to self teach due to lack of the amount of support we have today..
