I'd see no issue with people being allowed to enter 2 different bots into different teams. Better that than empty spaces.
I'll work on a beetle now to try and fill another slot.

Thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated :)

I knew when starting this LW that it'd be a challenge, but I think it's looking alright

I didn't want to lose the front scoop look, so the width is due to that. The big chassis combined with the dual BSGs inside means this bot was pretty up against the weight limit. Had to downgrade the scoop from Medium to Light unfortunately just to get chassis armour heavier than Plastic 1.

I imagine it's the space in Tournament banner.bmp.
Rename it to Tournament_banner.bmp and change the teams.txt accordingly.

EDIT: It could equally be that you've got a capital B in the teams.txt and not the file, so fix both.

Matching the number of weapons will make no difference to the game loading/crashing. In fact, the only difference having the correct numbers there makes is if all the weapon id's listed have been torn off of the bot, the weapon will stop firing.
If that correct binding isn't working and the game is crashing, there's a different issue.

You need a 'weapons' thing in bindings for the bot to use a weapon, so just put ,'weapons':(0,) in before the closing wiggly bracket after turnspeed and it'll work.

I'd like to but it'd probably mean a total rebuild and the loss of the srimech, and hammers aren't the best at self-righting really, plus it'd be tough on weight - I'm using small JX's for everything in there, so it's right up at weight limit.

I have however just noticed that not only does the popup cut straight through the extender but also all the way through the plow in a way that means it couldn't be attached anywhere, so that one is unrealistic, sorry. Lemme know what you wanna do about that.
