From what I've/we've seen of Tupac, he may win :3

Implying it'll be stable long enough to win anything.

I'm not sure what's going on with the first but, but I know you can change event arenas.
In the Events and Events_2Player documents you can find the settings for each event. The last 2 lines of text for each event define the arena and it's preview image. Find whatever arena you want from the events (things may be more complex for arenas that aren't in events) and copy/paste them to other events.

Example of those 2 last lines I mentioned:

Okay, I'm going to lock this now. Jonzu, when you have decided a solution let a mod know and we can unlock. Mazakari, as has been said before at least twice now, take it elsewhere.

Ah, Joe must've done that crusher so that the gravity was so strong it was crushing them, I guess. Good to know.

Bump sorry, but has anyone made the sumo from robot wars?

I don't believe so. Your best option for that kinda game though is probably the ClawTop arena.

I've not been in this thread before so excuse me if these have already been answered.

Does the Ice Arena in DSL, on the mountain with the spikes at the bottom, have a less grippy floor than other arenas?
How could I change the grip of the floor in say the Combat Arena?

Also is it possible to alter the strength of gravity in an arena?

I dunno about the floor grip but I don't think gravity can be altered. I know to create a false high-gravity Joe added kind of an invisible crusher pushing down, so I'd assume you couldn't change gravity.

Okay I think that's enough.

Mazakari, we all know your situation, but the fact remains, you did drop out. I don't know why you rise to the bait when you say you don't care about the game. But the whole thing is over now, it's dealt with, and yeah you'll probably have to deal with people bringing it up because people bring stuff up here, it's kinda what happens, I think you know that.
Which follows on well to Jonzu. A good solution was offered here, one that'd reduce the workload to a few videos rather than many. I'd honestly recommend just doing it and getting it done rather than dragging this situation out, plus it'll look better on you.

If the drama gets worse in here, I'll lock the thread until Jonzu has sorted a solution of some sorts.

Trios of Terror sounds fun, but I don't know if I'd be entering if it's Stock LW.

Why don't you just run this with just the user-submitted entries rather than with all the replicas?
It wouldn't be the same.

Who cares? You'd still be running it and therefore wouldn't incur a ban or a point penalty and people wouldn't think less of you for dropping out.

Calling you lazy when you have admitted that you are isn't whacking :P

Quit it. You're doing a lot of unwarranted flaming recently.

Yes, but only in a very short time frame after signups close. I probably won't be uploading the splashes tonight anyway, but late entries are completely restricted to the next half hour - apart from that, signups are now CLOSED.

The post you reported wasn't particularly offensive Jonzu so I will not be taking action, truth be told you ARE being lazy by taking this on and not following up.

(Image removed from quote.)
Here it is!

If you have never seen F&S 1, here's the gist. You must enter with two bots, one heavyweight, the other lightweight. They must look very similar/identical to give the father-son impression.

Rules:
Both robots must fit the weight limit.
All robots are to be made in the botlab of DSL 2.1 (no custom components or editing the bot outside of the botlab but custom smartzones are allowed).
The IRL rule is being used (so no robots you wouldn't see in real life).
Due to the above rule, the inside of the robot remains IRL as well (in other words, no stacking of battery packs, etc.)
Full body spinners and multibots are banned.
No use of glitches whatsoever.
Cheatbot2 is banned (however, one Judge Burst Motor per bot is allowed.)
The robots must have at least 2 wheels touching the ground and can show controlled movement. However, if the robot is a walker, this rule does not apply and it gets a 100kg weight increase.
Any Havok Explosions that occur will result in the match being restarted. When one team have caused the match to restart due to Havok Explosions more than twice, that team is disqualified.
The BBEANS 2 arena will be used (hazards on) and every match will last 3 minutes.
No SnS. (The only new rule)

Notes:
I will AI if you do not wish to. If you simply cannot AI, then tell me how you want the robot to work and I will make it so.
All entries checked on a first-come first-served basis.
Byebots will be used if necessary and I will take part in the tournament myself if I am running low on entries.
16 entries and there will be no real deadline.

Seeds:
[1] El Chickenado
[2] nicsan2009
[3] RedAce
[4] Mouldy King Bash
[5-8] Elementos
[5-8] TommyProductionsInc
[5-8] 090901
[5-8] helloface199

If the people listed as '5-8' join, I will choose their seed based on how I think there robot will do.

The reigning champions are Snugglebot Evolution and his son, Son of Snugglebot (as seen in the logo.)
This is now a signups topic and the rules above may not change. You have 3 months, enjoy :)

GTM All Stars!

The idea: Each builder will enter 1 LW, MW, HW bot, and try to accumulate the most Tournament points possible. (TP)
Points are gained by their position in the tournament across the weight categories (it's like 3 tournaments in 1!)
The person with the most points at the end will be crowned the STOCK ALL STAR!

Rules:
- Stock Lightweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight;
- The layout will be a 1v1, best to 3 match with a 3 minute timer for all the weight categories;
- The arena will be a skinned BBEANS Tournament Arena 2 with the hazards ON;
- No AAM, Thyrus Glitch, Zero G, BFE, Hax mode, Text Editing/swapping, or any other out-of-game modification. (just stock);
- Matches will be restarted due to Havoks 3 times, on the 3rd, if still havoking, the bot will be eliminated;
- 1 entry per builder in each weight class, there should be a total of 16 entrances;
- AI parts are allowed (including the 140cm extender and snapper);
- Cheatbot2 parts are not allowed;
- You should AI your own Bots, but if unable to, I will happily AI them;

- Multibots are allowed, but they must be less than or equal to half the weight limit for each weight class;
- You may update your entries unlimited times until the deadline (SBV);
- This tournament will be recorded in 1080p with the DX9 encoder for RA2. (looks goood)
