i think it's fine, it fits with the dark theme better than a flipper segment. a shell panel however...
That's stretching the whole idea a BIT far, but I'll see if I can mount some. EDIT: tried NFX's idea and it does look better.

I'm familiar with the whole motor on top idea, but the actual bar just wouldn't be very sturdy IRL. The bar on Final Destiny is both smaller and is also rounded at the tip and sides.
It isn't really an issue anyway, I just see that realistically that bar wouldn't be nearly as sturdy as it is in game.

That bar radius is frankly a little overboard and I would say it's slightly unrealstic but nothing too bad. And that's one ugly skin.

your entry looks neat, I'm assuming axle loading for the disc?
Also yeah a Moe motor is kinda unstable on a MW.
but also awesome seriously Yeah, I axle loaded the disk, didn't feel like throwing away a bunch of weight for a Standard DSL disk.

I'd actually also try and get the bot to be wider in terms of exterior armor so it can deal with Sns a little better.

instead of 2 shell panels can you not use a skirt or something of similar length.
and i really like the IRL bot for some reason.
Wanted to protect the flails to an extent as well as the chassis, so I used the shell panels. The chassis is pretty tough anyway. IRL spinner looks fantastic. It would definitely suit a skeleton-style theme. Not too certain about the sheets sticking out, though, I think Flipper Segments would look a bit less flimsy.
I wouldn't trade a slightly more flimsy looking piece with much more HP for something that looks better but has much less HP, personally. If I was any good at skinning I might have skinned the skirt so it looked nicer but I suck at component skinning.

Some tournament bots. Entry for one of my teams for Two To Tango. Armour is steel 5. Entry for Blades Of Fury 2. Plastic 3 (luckily that large chassis means it doesn't die TOO easily and it doesn't get hit often due to the disk). Obviously uses the MOE motor and also the cheatbot2 Matilda teeth due to them being allowed for BoF2.

The wamming rack won't do much damage with a chassis angle like the one you currently have, I'd make the front longer so you have a small angle. Then I'd try mounting the razors on the ObZen style multi-extender setup. Nice and realistic I see...
yep, as are most popups :P
Popups are realistic enough if they don't have their weapon system moving all the way through a certain component either vertically or horizontally. If you removed the wamming rack it would be realistic but that would kill all the originality of your bot.

Sure.
What kind of bot?
It's attached to this post, and I'll tell you via PM if you don't want to download. Something that can take out HS or Sns would be ideal from you. Team name? I'd go for Team Industrial Discipline as a fairly cool robotic name. anyone want a team
Sure *is already in 3 teams but doesn't mind*

HW looks okay but rather un-exciting. Can we have a view of the weapon setup without the titanium sheet in the way?

inb4 arguments.
I don't agree with hunting for fun. Maybe if the prey is being used for food, maybe. Not the show sport it is over here is disgusting. Let's get on horses and chase terrified foxes around the countryside...
GET OUT OF THIS THREAD YOU LIBERAL COMMIE.
Since when did you turn facist man? When you started going "RONPAULRONPAUL" all the time? I stand where craaig does. I'm very much against fox hunting but if the animal being hunted is used for food I'm fine with it.

I just have no use for it. If I want front row coaster simulation I just use No Limits and if I want huge parks I use RCT2 since it lags much less and has better scenery options.

Generic ? GENERIC ? *whacks Reier with a large fish*
LOL
Avoid bumping threads in the main forum like that. I'm still kinda impressed with the drum juggler concept personally. I've built a few in DSL and they've performed very well.

It looks like old game from 90's-80's,
The best games were all made in the late 90's and early 2000's :P
Some of them, yeah. :P
- Lego Racers - Colin McRae Rally 2.0 - Hydro Thunder - Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 (Am I rite?) - LieroXtreme - GeneRally
etc. :P
No Ocarina of Time?
I don't even have no idea whatever that is.
WHAT?
No offense, but Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time is something most people have heard of. I wouldn't say it's as good as most people say but it's definitely a great game.
Legend of Zelda? Pfft... No thanks.
Why? For all its reputation for being a kids game (which can be pretty laughable for those who've played either Majora's Mask or Twilight Princess) and its more casual fanbase it's a good game.
I play only Building, Shooting & Racing games.
Having such a narrow outlook on gaming isn't good but whatever, your choice. To get back on topic, I found a pretty cool trick for Career Mode that allows you to unlock certain Coaster types early- to do so, you'll need a copy of RCT2 or RCT1.
1) Sad because you don't have the Coaster Type you want in a Career Mode Scenario? 2) Go to "Import Tracks from Previous RCT Games" 3) Import a chosen design. I usually go for a Vekoma Boomerang or a Schwarzkopf Looper, but anything can be used as long as it's not a design from one of the Expansion Packs (IE. One of the Coasters with different-themed trains) 4) Build it in the park 5) Now look at the "Build New Coaster" menu- the type of coaster you used is now in the menu, and can be used as part of the Scenario, even if it wasn't originally meant to be there. 6) Therefore, more freedom in what you can design! (Image removed from quote.)
Kinda useless for me since I never use RCT3 anyway.

Everyone calm down. Jonzu, that was uncalled for and Nate, don't fuel the fire. Thanks.

Do they make a floating bridge version of the Elvira? That would be amazing.
Only a hard tail.
