DSL TC Showcases / Re: DemonOfTomorrow's Devastating DSL IRL Showcase

Have to agree with G.K here. The Module bot is pretty impressive, but I got to say the drum module and the flamethrower module are definitively my favorites out of the six, despite all the modules being equally effective.

No, mee
TGM is already hosting that challenge. But how about a challenge match with me:

Stock MW
Ring Arena
BO3
Cheatbot2 banned
Component freedom banned
BFE and what have you is also banned

Edit: Now I've realized that Asbestostar is still in a challenge that hasn't been resolved for over a month. But anyone one else is welcome for a challenge.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: A Community Divided: The GTM Dilemma
« on: December 24, 2017, 11:24:02 AM »
That's why i created the REAL GTM DISCORD for those who are sick of the toxicity in the "official" Discord. Check it out here.
https://discord.gg/SHdxTez
Even with the Real discord, the overall view on both channels is pretty much the same as each other. Regardless of what MNB claims, both discord channels suffer from the exact same problems. Not only with the lack of seriousness, but also with the over abundance of ****posting, continuous spam of copy-pastas and the lack of moderator response to issues that do come up like when users get into an argument and the moderators sometimes do very little to solve the problem. Personally I do like the discord to some degree being a little more laid back when it comes to having off-topic conversations, but I feel that the with the actions of some users does lead onto many of the problems of the discord like the ****posting and what have you and nothing being done in some extreme cases.  I do know that the moderators aren't completely incompetent and they do take actions against some issues, but the problems that occur come from the moderators more laid back response to most issues that should be solved quickly.

So, how I feel about the situation on the seriousness should be solved as soon as possible. I don't care about the whole toxic user excuse to the behavior on the discord, it's the moderators job to supervise and prevent these problems along the discord users. An if a user carries on then they should do it in a way that doesn't spam up the whole channel.

Existing Games / Re: Favorite Games of 2017!

Well because my laptop isn't powerful enough and I don't have the latest home console. I cannot really say much from watching the games then playing them. But I did enjoy playing the remake of Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga on the 3DS though.

Well, that's a good idea entering some replicas. Still, they're looking good both visually and some what combat effective. Just need to make some logo for them both.

Ironforge TC Showcases / Dark-Al does not understand Ironforge

Right then. For some of you that looked on the discord. I've posted this image of a bot I made. It's not finished but I just need some advice in fixing some of the problems and making a few changes to the bot itself.

Love my new name. Thanks Apanx. :heart_smiley:
Eyy congrats on your name change and sex change (maybe idk?)!
Will need time to adjust the fact that you're a she now.
There's a very long way to go before I can get any sex change operations, but thanks. :)
Still, I think the name change is pretty amazing.

Sorry if this is a bit late, but welcome to Gametechmods Olister92! If you've been lurking on the forum for sometime, you should make a showcase to show off any bot that you've made. But please do enjoy your time.

Nice replica. Though, I do agree with Neon that you should change the colour to a more creamish-brown instead of pink and grey. But, do keep up work.

Seeing that this tournament is near to the end, the hype for the finals intensifies. It's been a long journey, but the journey couldn't of been better through out the way. I'm glad that I was part of it even by building one bot.

Well, this looks alot better than the plan the Redace sorted out. Though I'm concerned with having IRL in an offical tournament, due to the forum's decent into IRL building and the lack of diversity of building into the other dead metas. But still, at least everyone will be happy at the end of the day.

Challenge Board / Re: Challenge Belt - December 2017
« on: December 04, 2017, 11:48:49 AM »
I forgot to add one last point. Shouldn't there be a limit of how many parts like Mircovore/Mechavore disc, Frenzy Hammers, Minion discs or Overkill blades that a user can have on their bot, to prevent them from spamming that type of weapon?

Sound like fun to have this month challenge belt that doesn't involve IRL building. I'll consider entering.

For a few moments before the results. I honestly thought that number 2 wasn't DSC, but actually Demon due to how the robot almost resemble something that Demon would build, despite some similar designs from other IRL builders. But moving on, congratulation DSC for winning your third BOTM in a row.

Discussion / Re: ra2
« on: December 02, 2017, 07:18:13 AM »
Another point to add, sometimes having a big cluster **** of ra2 mods into one version can causes some unintentional glitches. One of these I had was that if you were to transfer bots that have side skirts from pure DSL into the cluster version of DSL like the Asbesto evento uno mod. Sometimes, the skirt hinges will shift out of their normal places, causing a heap load of problems such as you bot being unable to move. This isn't a problem if you build inside the mod, but the glitch can cause problems when transferring bots between pure and combined mods.

Seems a little too early for the Splashes to be shown, but I still have to give my verdicts:
1. A little too expected for the Christmas theme . But I like the overall design of the tree itself and all the presents that are nicely laid out around it.
2. Almost reminds me if Rudolph the red-nose reindeer turned into a savage beast, and became much more awesome looking in the process. The design is brilliant, l especially love the weapon design of the bot and overall the bot is enough to win most users votes.
