Very nice, although I reckon one of those Ironforge blades would work better for the curved axe Mortis had.

Is that a new fire texture or just something added to the render? Either way, bot looks great!

That purchase button in the last very legit screenshot has me worried... are you putting micro-transactions in RA3??

Maybe a bit messy, but I like it. I really like the shape created by the extenders, and the larger back wheels are cool also.

Slaughterhouse looks pretty epic, and the tanks are all fantastic.

Whilst I really don't like the choice of instrument on all of these tracks some of the riffs are pretty nice (I especially liked the ones on Vertical Tutoring, and Break is actually a pretty nice melody too). What did you use to make this stuff? If the program can support them, maybe you could try using some VST plugins? 249

Awesome, thanks Naryar.
I'm doing some work on making a Mortis AI at the moment (aka I fail horribly and Trov tells me my mistakes :P) but once I've done that I'll be back to doing some more fixed components. Killalot claw is first on the list. 250

Looks good to me. I was gonna comment "Hey that looks like Pirahna!" but then I noticed you already knew that. Have you got the weight for one more tooth right on the top of the axe? I think that would look pretty cool.
Also it needs a cool skin :P 252

That is really cool, love the flipper segments at the front and the cutting teeth on the top.

DSL2 version of that DSL3 drill I made, but with a brand new theme and name: Acid Drill
![]() ![]() Skin took a lot longer than I thought it would, especially the name, but I think it turned out ok. 254

The red neon is actually quite a cool effect, especially given the low resolution of the skin. It was more the placement of it, and also the greenish blue part in the middle that I thought looked a bit odd.

Skin is kinda bizarre, but I quite like it. Eyes are pretty cool too. A weapon slot would be nice (and also the obligatory 'skin would look better in HD' comment I always make) but otherwise I really like it.

DSL TC Showcases / Re: Reier's DSL Showcase of DSL-ness« on: November 06, 2014, 11:46:32 AM »
DSL S is DSL Standard, so DSL like you have been building, robots based on efficiency, destruction and getting fast KOs. It's called DSL S to distinguish it from DSL IRL building, which is aimed at making a robot that looks and works like a real life robot.

First one looks really cool, regardless of whether it actually works or not.
Communist Manifesto isn't that bad, but I agree Hammerfury is so much cooler. 258
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Reier's DSL Showcase of DSL-ness« on: November 06, 2014, 02:20:20 AM »
I'm not really a DSL S expert, but those look very good to me.
One thing that's changed fairly recently was that 123STW discovered that using a skirt hinge with only the middle attachment point can give better wedges than a metal hinge, so you could get some more weight on the popup that way, although not sure what you'd do with it. Chassis wedge maybe? 259

I've not done any proper AI stuff either, but I might give it a look as well. I think getting python is a must for making sure the syntax is correct, I gathered that much from reading the old AI thread, but python has two version downloads, one legacy and one present version. Does anybody know which to get for RA2? Trov maybe?
