'(do NOT post in there unless you have DSL3 news)' ... Regardless, there is a beta available somewhere around, shouldn't be difficult to find. I'll edit it into here if I find it in the next few minutes.

Yeah, I halved the height on the back points. Another BFE'd to hell bot. But for good reason. This is essentially a replica of my irl BW, Mr Snappy. Can't get the lifter on right but this'll do.

RULES Game - DSL 2.1 Weight - Middleweight Realistic Rule - IRL Realism Unlimited entries per person. Total number of entries will be a minimum of 75. (See Battle And Format Rules.) Only in game glitches are allowed - eFFe Glitching, Axle Loading and Snapper Loading. If you can't AI I will try my best to AI for you, just don't complain about it if your robot doesn't win. You can't enter until I have received and accepted your robot.
BUILDING RULES Middleweight class robots only. 249.0kg - 399.0kg Only in game glitches are allowed - eFFe Glitching, Axle Loading and Snapper Loading. No external editing at all - BFE, AAM and so on. However, I will allow you to edit the height of your robot, as long as it is still IRL. Must have at least 2 wheels for controlled movement. Tracked robots are eligible, the weight cushion is - The weight of the tracks do not count towards the weight of the robot. No scuttlers, crawlers or walkers. Multibots are eligible, each part must not weigh more than 200kg. No unrealistic weapon sizes and quantities. You can upgrade your robot or send a new one as often as you like until signups end. Judge Bursts and MOE motors are the only non-wheel Cheatbot2 components allowed. All wheels allowed except Storm II wheels. One Judge Burst per bot.
BATTLE AND FORMAT RULES Music, artwork, results tables, etc, will be stolen from based upon the 2014 revival series with Sandi Toksvig, but will be edited a little. 1 minute fights. There will be a lot of them. Fifteen To One Arena (Official Robot Arena 2 Tournament Arena with a lame skin.) Hazards on. If a robot havoks then I will restart the match. I will keep restarting until there is a havok-free match. Fights with havoks will not be shown. The way I run the tournament will depend on how many entries I get. I will need the entries to be a minimum of 75 and then progress up in blocks of 15. (75, 90, 105, 120, etc.) Robots will be split up into the appropriate number of heats consisting of 15 robots in each.
Round One - Each competing robot is given a number from 1 to 15. - Each competing robot will start with 3 lives. - Each robot will face a robot made by me, they will face the same robot. - If they lose to my robot, then they lose a life. Win and they keep their lives. - Repeat this two times, meaning each robot will be guaranteed two fights. - If a robot loses both of it's two fights then it is eliminated from the tournament. - Robots which lost one or none of their fights go on to Round Two.
Round Two - The surviving robot with the lowest number will then choose (nominate in Fifteen To One terms) another robot to fight against. - The robot which loses the fight will lose a life. - The robot which wins will then nominate the next robot to fight against. - Once a robot loses all three of it's lives it is then eliminated from the tournament. - This cycle repeats until all but three robots are eliminated.
Heat Final
All three finalists would advance to the Grand Final, making a Heat Final a bit pointless, so there would be a 3 Way Rumble added onto the end of the Round Two video. The outcome of this battle wouldn't mean anything. - There will be a maximum of 40 fights. - The three finalists have their lives refilled to three. - The lives they had remaining are turned into points. (1 point per life.) - I will start with the robot I think has performed the best overall during the first and second rounds. - That robot will either take a question (fight one of mine) or nominate (fight) another person. - Winning a question will earn you 10 points and you have next pick of question or nominate. - Losing a question will mean you lose a life. - Winning a nomination battle will earn you no points, but you have next pick of question or nominate. - Losing a nomination if you were the challenger will not lose you a life. - Losing a nomination if you were the receiver will lose you a life. - If you lose all three lives you are eliminated, and your score at that point will be put on the leaderboard. - Questions and nominations will continue, if there is only one robot left then it will face questions until it loses all its lives or all 40 fights are completed. - If all 40 fights are completed, each remaining life will be converted into 10 points and added to the total, and then will be put on the leaderboard. - Once all heats are done the 15 with the highest scores will go into the Grand Final.
Questions and nominations would happen like in 90 - 210, but the robot with the highest score at the end or last remaining robot will go on to the Grand Final. Questions and nominations would happen like in 90 - 210, but the robot with the highest score at the end or last remaining robot will have their score put on the leaderboard. Once all heats are done the 15 heat winners with the highest scores will go into the Grand Final. Grand Final This will work the same as a heat but will contain heat finalists/high scorers/winners depending on the number of entrants. The robot that wins the final round will be declared the Fifteen To One Grand Champion.
ENTRANTS 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. ... ... ... 70. 71. 72. 73. 74. 75. (Will be extended as necessary.)
AI'd and accepted. Accepted. You need to change your robot.
MY ENTRY AND SPLASH LAYOUT (Image removed from quote.) Picture of the robot goes in the digital bit in the top left. The number in the bright blue segment will change depending on what number the robot is in the heat. I will not be entering as a competitor but I will be building a lot of robots to be used in Round One and the Final of the heats and Grand Final.

It could have a pretty cool Ming 2 vibe without the front wheels, the others inside and the skin changed, I think.

Install Gameranger ( www.gameranger.com) and anybody that is actually playing will show up on a list there - don't be disappointed if nobody is though, to be able to get a match you often have to organize it as Playzooki was saying in the other thread.

I downloaded from the Custom Components the Steel Square Extender thinking it might be best choice given its description.
Honestly if you're playing with custom components you shouldn't be worrying about how good/strong the components are, because the bots will never have a purpose outside of aesthetics or your own in-game stuff as they can't be used in 99% of tournaments.

There's no servers because the only people left who play this is our small community. The multiplayer is also buggy and laggy as hell. Anyone who does play multiplayer now does it through Hamachi or Gameranger, but your best bet to see your bots in action is to enter our AI Tournaments :)

I don't really have any idea what you've actually done in terms of putting the bots 'into' DSL (did you overwrite all the DSL AI?) so it's kinda hard to help. It could be that the RW mod you're using is, I assume, Wham's, and he's fixed the wheel issue from DSL2.1 so you'd have to rewire the drive controls (i don't mean just flipping the buttons, like actually flipping the clock/anticlock instructions).

That's completely irrelevant to this topic, put it in a thread in the Games section rather than in Real Robotics.
Also consider editing your first post instead of posting twice in quick succession in future.

ive noticed that whenever my axles fly off (usually by accident) they without fail leave the screen completely. its kinda dissapointing because sometimes it'll happen at a time where it would actually be useful to attach something but nooo nothing is ever easy is it. thanks for the tip though im going to try it a few times anyways and see what i can do
Yeah, sometimes it might take a few tries to get right, and you need to stop the moment it gets somewhere useful or it will fly miles off. Also don't worry about the post, the amount of times I've nearly done that is ridiculous :P

Just because I'm going around cleaning up and this still hasn't actually been done (thanks nar)... Ray Rice: The Tournament - Stock Middleweight - No cheatbot2 parts or custom parts (aside from Smartzones as long as they're not used for ballast/attachment points) - No out of game modifications - No Thyrus glitch or Hax mode - Your bot must show controlled movement. - Only weapon allowed is Iron Fist (if you want to be lame you can make a flipper) - Multibots allowed - I can AI, but I reserve the right to tell you to do it yourself. Don't complain about the AIing if you were too lazy to do it yourself. - You can change/update your entry after one week of sending it, after that no more updates - Weight from a smartzone doesn't count towards your total - Match will restart after one havok; after the second one, the bot that is causing the havoks will be eliminated - Arena will be reskinned combat arena with increased hazard damage - Bracket will either be round robin followed by a single elimination final, or double elimination, depending on amounts of entries. - I will not be entering
