I wanted to try out some stuff I wouldn't usually do, and I ended up with this.
LW, thwack style flailing tail, very low and fast.

Thanks guys, really appreciated. I hate building generic boxes, even in real life. Everything's so much more appealing and fun when it has some sort of personality.
This is also why Plazmic Inferno's featherweight, Minor Tom, may have a large vinyl face stuck onto it. :P

Anyway, this is the best way I've found (so far) to add the drum 'gear'

Looking for more compact methods but it's tough to find components with the right heights - would all be much easier with a side AP on the bursts :')

wedgychassis

If you import that you can see what i did with the points (don't re-make the chassis or edit the points in botlab because it'll reset).
I just lowered the back 2 points in the bot file (each point is in the file 3 times)

Something I've wanted to do for a while is make axes look mildly more realistic in terms with how a lot of the modern ones work.
My system doesn't work as well with Medium drums as Large (you can just about see part of the mechanism evening the drums centre with the burst pivot), but Axe Bot will only fit a Medium, so, until I make something taller, here's this.

Do the snappers still fire after they get hit once or twice?
They actually don't, which is why I used them for protection and weapons.

...So, what's the point in having them as weapons if they aren't even going to work after 20 seconds or so?

protection

I mean, sure, it won't be able to do any damage unless anything slides round the side, but any full-frontal hits won't damage the chassis.
It's a cool concept but I think the weapons not firing after a while will be a major downside.

Only if Reier is writing the game's plot.

shuold killerhurtz be a boy or girl???
Make it either both or have one male and one female, each clones of each other but different genders.

Nah Killerhurtz is the male to Beta's female. Beta got dem curves.

Looks awesome, some real nice ideas there with the texture and using drums as the wheel arches.

once I was ready to build, signups were already closed.

But they were open for a month and a half.

GJ RedAce for actually pulling through on this regardless.

I will write track by track review if I ever listen to all of it.

For now
1) Punched In The Face Remix
Aside from the super artificial guitar that's already been mentioned, I like the 'main riff' if you will. The other riff not so much because that's been used in a million different things. The main riff could do with some mixing up every now and again, even if it's just like preceded by a high harmonic or something in the 'verses'.
2) Kek'd and Checked
Dat bass pedal needs some more power. Same artificial guitar, I'll stop writing that in reviews now. The palm mutey breakdown could've been cooler if you made the drums more complex after a few repeats. Overall alright.
3) 2:45
The first one that properly sounds like Doom soundtrack material. That's a compliment, I think, because it genuinely sounds like it'd fit. Little bit repetitive at times and the solo is just wat but yeah
4) No Fun Allowed
Yeah my ears aren't in the best shape after this one. I'm gonna stop listening for now.

I'm pretty sure being around now when you registered 8 years ago is pretty much grounds to become a Vet.

Maybe you did something to upset the powers upstairs :P

You can go and reverse the motor commands (not the A/D W/S but the Clock/Anti-Clock), copy all the components so you have DSL2 and 3 copies and BFE the bots to have the right ones, give all the DSL2 bots DSL 3 wheels, or you can do the sensible thing and not try merging them.

Pretty sure Wham's pack is DSL3, and as Redline says, the wheels were fixed in that.

I have a coffee problem
Well how much coffee did you drink exactly?

Just 1 cup. But then the caffeine. And the dependence.
I have a hot drink problem in general. Tonight I tried to take a picture of Mr Snappy. This is the state it's in.
Surrounded by caffeine free teas, coffee, and coffee grinds. hnruiogjph

Also, yes, well deserved Redline. Nice work :)

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? :P
Anyway, I think the weapon might look better using a spike strip, but that's just me - those teeth look too rounded on there imo.
