Really this is the final nail in the coffin for a lot of current weapons...
At least when it comes to playing DSL 2.1 competitively.
Its amazing something so complex could come from what seemed to be a "half assed" game.. maybe they blew the whole budget paying the salary for someone to construct the damage calculation :P

well that itself creates a new door to components..
it essentially opens the door to having different flamethrowers available (say in space arena) as you could create purpose for each like the different sizes on the flame spike..

IIRC the Ant Batt was over powered so AW robots didnt have to waste space/ weight on Batteries..
then was just abused for Heavier robots :P

the templates will be the normal template
all your doing is warping the shapes the mapping is all constant still.
you can increase your map files though, they can be 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, etc, etc
