I don't know who you're playing who runs Acid Golem without creature swap but you should tell them they're being a tad stupid. Even though quite a bit of fusion monsters can be involved in an F/OTK, most of the cards that make them work have been banned anyway. And if you mean to say that Cyber Dragons can win a game in one turn, you should try doing that against the new archetypes. Rank is a bit stupid. I hated synchro when it first became a thing because they seemed really OP due to the fact that 'Polymerization' was not needed but then I learnt that getting tuner monsters out can be tedious sometimes and countless other decks at the time, that didn't involve synchros, could beat them. Fusions are still my favourite because they seem the most balanced (needing polymerization and whatnot.) But I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, XYZ are broken and all archetypes that support quick summoning of level 8+ monsters (with 0 atk and def to compensate, nice try Konami) are by far the best archetypes around now.

When it comes down to it, I think the pecking order of monster summoning types should go like this, Rituals>Fusions>Synchros>XYZ>Tribute summons. This is mainly because of the speed at which these monsters can be summoned. When pendulums become a thing, I think they would be between fusions and synchros, considering they can be easily countered and getting the pendulum scale set and the monsters to use it with is really tedious.

Use bottomless trap hole when a Pendulum summon goes off and your opponent basicly gives up and goes away. There entire play is banished also it take several turns to set up a summon so I do think pendulums are balanced... Ish
I agree.

They don't ruin it really. It's just different. And Pendulums on the way to TCG!
They don't ruin it? There are some XYZ that have better effects than most fusions and rituals and XYZ are far easier to summon! What's the point in fusions, rituals and tribute summons if XYZ allow you to rule the game if you have 2 level 4 monsters on the field? Also, with the archetypes, getting level 8 and higher monsters is way too easy, feeding XYZ. I think the game and the TV shows have been simplified so the game can go back to it's target audience, kids. XYZ are too simple to use to be as OP as they are.

I have no views on pendulum summoning. Played them on YGOPRO, could go either way for me really. The cards that support them seem to be restricted but I guess that will change soon. But still, I think XYZ is still more OP than pendulum summoning. Again, I can't say anything for sure on that, but that's what I think.

Recent unread topics isn't properly updating as well, the read threads do not go away and it's more like Recent unread and read topics.
Same. Also, when I post, it says there's an error but still posts.

*Just noticed after I posted this, posts don't go towards my post count.

I started playing YuGiOh! when I was about 9. I loved the show but didn't understand the game. After I got into it, it was one of my favourite games, period, not just card games. I run the old decks such as, Cyber Dragon, Elemental Heroes, etc. I hate the new archetypes, ruins the game if you ask me. Nothing but OPness since XYZ were introduced.

Sometimes I run anime decks on YGOPRO, mostly Timelords.

Are people still building for this? What happened to the 7 other people that said they would join?
I sent an entry...
I was told to AI it but it has already been AIed in my tournament, I think Chickenado forgot to update it.

The only ones that I'm gonna vote for are:
Unluckiest entry - Ground Dweller
Best Battle - Point of No Return v I Dare You

I don't think any of them were that original really. Don't know what best entry really entails. Not sure there was a crowd favourite.

A good tournament, all in all. I'm glad I got to take part in some of it, SDII is probably my best competitive bot to date (considering weight class.) I hope there are more beetleweight tournaments now because the bots seem to be pretty cool (especially Spooky.)

Being a huge MMA fan, I feel like I must own this. However I do not have a PS4.

I did play undisputed 3 tho, I liked it. However the grappling confused me and I could never figure out what to do on thebground
Yeah, the grappling can be quite hard to grasp at the start but you get used to it easily. I hope that's the same for this game.

I still play UFC U2009 today.

I was not quick to jump on the Xbox One and PS4 bandwagon, so I don't have this game but this seems like the one game EA have got right in a while (from the youtube vids I've seen.) I think it is a very good game with super realistic graphics but the combat system seems to have gone wrong where UFC Undisputed 2010 went wrong because body blows just can't be returned it seems. Other than that, a good combat system (again, from what I've seen so far.)

What are your guys thoughts on this game... or fighting sports games in general (for example, UFC Undisputed, WWE SVR, etc.)

Keep it dsl 2.1 with non-cheat components.

Also you should just put it as an UHW tournament (5000 kg's)... and ban multibots. Really.

There is no fun in watching an UHW go against a LW because in 99,99% of cases we know how's the match gonna end.
It's No Holds Barred for a reason, it will have cheatbot2 components. Multibots are banned. Also, I know it says 'up to UHW' but I think everyone will make their bot an UHW. Like you said, nobody's going to make anything less if they know they're just gonna get creamed.

Not sure how well this is gonna go over, but it sounds interesting.

I do suggest banning custom components. If someone uses components you don't have, it will ruin this whole thing right off the bat.
Custom components haven't been confirmed, so I think that's a given but I'll add the ban anyway, just in case people get carried away. Also, it may take a well for people to make the bots, but I think it will go well.

I've seen your entry. It looks cool. Original enough to get through signups anyway.
