I probably could if I dropped the disc weapon at the back. I felt it helped with the look and feel of the flipper, though.
Would it be better to change it to drop the disc entirely and put the burst inside?

Are you going to enter that for BB7? If so, i'm really scared.
Enter what, bro? There's 4 or 5 'bots since your last post.

My money is on the box with the Shiny Hub Wheels and Razors.
Which narrows down the competitors, sort of.

In which case, just in case I was wrong and more are happening.
Dusk vs Quietus.
Rob Collins, you're mine!
Plus, I'd like to actually see my flipper in action for a change....

You gotta make sure it doesn't whack itself back and forth like crazy and that it doesn't damage its weapon motors when striking.
Absolute no clipping between chassis and components (eg, blades passing through scoop) has been assured. It's more the actual design of the weapon that isn't IRL. Anyway, spent the last hour or so bashing out a couple more robots. Ultimate Cataclysm, 383.6kg, Steel 1. Anger, 749.0kg, Steel 5. Yeah, I'm aware that the second weapon motor is completely useless, but it gives a sense of supoort and symmetry to the weapon. And a work in progress, Formaldehyde. A flipper with rear disc. Quite happy with the design so far. Needs a bit of extra work to stop itself flipping itself every time it fires the weapon though.

I don't even know what I was thinking when I made this one. I don't even think the weapon is IRL. ANYWAY. Terminal Traction, 1199.3kg, Alu 10. Some sort of axe/spinner hybrid? I'm not sure.

Fairly certain Grudge Matches are over, guys?
Are they, I didn't know we could have them in the first place
I could be wrong, but I was under the impression Massimo gave us a little time to call out matches we wanted, then uploaded them and was done. I'd go back and check, but the forum is running so slow at the moment there'll probably be three or four posts beating me down for giving teh n00bz wrong information before I've even found the right post.

Better luck next time, Kossokei, maybe I won't give you my place in the second round.

Try using a disk on that second bot if you wanna use those teeth; might look better.
Like that? Also, have a DSL 3 flipper.

I would highly doubt that flamethrowers will be allowed. Wham's looking for more 'British' Robot Wars style designs, and Robot Wars never allowed flamethrowers. I can imagine he'd keep it the same way here. Plus, after Arsonist's BB6 performance, I can imagine we're going to be seeing more than enough flamethrowers in the new few tournaments. Anyway, I'm throwing my hat in the ring for support of this tournament. The first DSL3 tournament could be a lot of fun, and to any doubting it's success (*cough* Jonzu *cough*), I'm willing to bet Wham knows what he's doing here. He's done fine work so far.
