just tried it and unfortunately i can't attach them to the alu extenders
edit: this is probably also going to be my entry for the next dsl hw tourney that pops up
Trinity spinners are technically unrealistic so you'd have to wait for a DSL unrealistic tournament like Steel Warzone.

5 ants, tite 1 and nothing has ko'd it so far in nar ai. excellent gut ripper and outweaponer

original, efficient and cool enough naryar?
Someone liked my RIW3 bot quite a bit apparently:P
Looks cool and effecient, but it looks too easy to flank, I'd shorten the wedges so its less easy to get under them from the side. The skirts on top also look a little useless

I came to the BeetleBros. site after three years away to watch some old videos. I had no idea the community was still so active.

Warms my decrepit heart, it does.

I need to reinstall the game, teach you whippersnappers how we did it in Ye Olden Days...
I'll happily *educate* you in modern building standards once you do.

But it's good to have some older members back.

I happened to be walking around this corner of the internet and decided to stop by and say hi.

So what going on these days?
Not much, there have been a few tournaments as usual but it's been quieter without colossal flame wars.

Not good news for me when my opponent is some huge dual perm VS.
Although they could spikeball over the wall. Which is what I'm hoping happens in my match, if I can't KO him as quickly as I'd like.
True, my bot nearly punted Hercules in my fight too.

But Mike still scares me.

Voted 3 but I think that 2 (probably marty's since he's an Edguy fan) was the best built and probably the best actual bot.

Don't forget you still have the loser's bracket, GF...
Yeah, I suppose I have that at least. Besides, Madman's entry lacks a wedge, so hopefully I can take it on.
I honestly don't care since I don't care about bots which don't show my building ability. IRL makes for fail tournaments (no offense to the people who run them) anyway since it's more about aesthetics than actual effectiveness.

Maybe it could have stuff from No More Heros or Monster Hunter Tri, would be unsure though
Travis or Henry wouldn't go amiss, I guess

Respond to this :P

Spies are supposed to fight that way, GF93. They would get destroyed if they played by your definition of "properly" fighting.
I know that- too weak to do anything other than resort to cheap tactics.
For that, they're definitely my most hated class in the game- there's a reason why I usually teabag or taunt over the corpses in the freezecams, afterward.
Give me your steam, worm.
Foxy, as you maybe noticed in TF2 thread, I use mostly spy from now on... Just for you. >:3
Hence, I've also prepared- I'm now practising listening out for signs of Spies nearby (IE. Sounds of decloaking, sapping and backstabs of others), as well as look. That, and there's how you can't fool a Pyro with your pithy disguises....   :gunz:
Oh please.. Let me laugh. xD
Heck, I'm getting well-adapted to dealing with Spies in general as Pyro. Killed plenty of them now- all dime a dozen, backstabbing scumbags...like you!

No offence.
Realistically spies do play more of a support role, so one on one it's not exactly fair to say the spy is quite so bad in the fighting situations.

Deadringer spies though...
brrrr...

Btw, gimme your steam, let's see how you cope against me (okay I suck and I'm well past my prime of 2 years ago, but I'll have a shot)

God, I hate Pyros. Spies are the way to go in that game.
Nein. Spies are the cheapest class in the game- if there's any class I enjoy murdering the most, it's those bloody backstabbing cowards.
Disagreed, it is the art of deception, skill and mental agility. Running up to someone, flamethrower in hand, and getting your face blown off isn't fun.
And cheapness- I wish they'd actually try fighting rather than mincing up to people and one-shotting them, or running away.

With regards to the bit on Pyros though, there's far, far more to it than that. There's a good learning curve to using Pyro, but it's a far more rewarding class once you get the hang of certain manouvers, like using the compression blast (Right-click) to send projectiles back to opponents and minesweep Stickybomb traps, circlestrafing to avoid enemy fire and get behind opponents, utilising the art of ambushing to wreak havoc, and whipping out the Axtinguisher to finish almost anyone in a single blow.

With a little practise, any Pyro can become an awesome close-to-mid-range assassin. If you like, I'll give you a little tutoring.
Have fun against those snipers you can't really compete with at a range, scouts who beat you at mid range combat due to greater agility, medics which heal themselves with Bluetsaugers while you lose health rapidly, spies who Ambassador you at a distance, engineers in general, heavys filling you with holes before you can reach them, Soldiers who actually know how to play the game (rocket jumping to get out of your visual range before Direct Hitting you, ect.

Even against demomen the Pyro isn't great because if you spend time reflecting shots they'll probably just quickly charge you and kill you very quickly.

Seriously, Pyros are just too ineffecient and case-sensitive to be effective.

Lol, Spies are hardly easy to play as, and are fun too once you're good; a decent player can actually just fight melee and spinstab people for easy kills. Plus people really don't understand that the revolver kicks ass.

Final boss of Shadow Of The Colossus. There went 4 HOURS OF MY LIFE.
